Crosswords and pie

Well Hello all. Today I actually slept unitl 10:00 AM!! Can you believe it? And yet this wasnt a good thing today since we had to get the president back to Millersville, or to his rides house, by 1:00. However , nothing closely resembling this can occur without....
THE DRUG.
So, first things first, since its chilly as I step out off bed, I must grab things to place on myself, things that don't match usually. On really cold days, this can be very intersting because then Im just so cold I dont care what Im in. An odd mixture of shoes, socks, sweaters, husbands shirts, sometimes I actually do find my robe.
Go downstairs, the drug has already been mixed by my partner.(sounds so hip doesnt it?) And not only has it been formulated, its a great batch of brew on top of it. With REAl cream
Get the kid up and moving and we decide we need to run some errands before he leaves. We're all foggy this morning because we were at the movies last night seeing the latest of Wes 's films, as reccomended by Dan. Then we walked pugs at midnight by the light of the harvest moon and ....... the skunks. There were three but we had sticks. we did our best to avoid them and we did.
Well, Target is the place that we decided to hit to get it all from office supplies to clothing, snacks etc. I have slice of wheat toast with strawberry Jelly (i know! Im allergic to strawberries, I wish someone would talk to me about this)
After target, I take Ian to his rides house and run to Aldi where I grab dinner stuff and water, etc. Its crowded and I hate all the people who are in my way.
I come home and make a chicken sandwich with Helmans mayo, salt and........ OMG no pepper! for the 5th day! I keep forgetting to buy pepper even thought its very important. You might not think so but wait until you dont have it. OH well! I'll have to deal and I do.
I decide to make a pumpkin pie. (Sorry Ian, didnt really have time while you were home) so I make this sugar free pumpkin pie, spend alot of time fooling around on youtube watching videos from the 70's while Pavorotti, domingo and carerras sing on PBS.
Finally I make dinner, tacos. after that some of that Pie and we sit down ands watch a show on PBS about a Crossword Puzzle Competition.
A MAJOR ONE!
They are interviewing the top competitors, some of them winners form the past . They are MAJOR eggheads and all very interesting people, Obsessed with completing these puzzles in very strict time constraints such as three minutes. Its thrilling to them! They all have the same books in their house in common. Many versions of the dictionary and thesaureses, history books, shelves lined in books full of information. They all cannot wait for the New York Times crossword puzzles to come out AND they even know who is the puzzle makers of that day. Apparently there are different one for different days. The excitement ooozes out of them as they describe each puzzle maker and that persons personal flair
One man won the contest years back and then became a puzzlemaker until his life became so unbalanced that he felt he must removed himself, physically from New York, to remove himself from the hub of puzzlemania where he could have a life outside of the crossword. There are songs about the puzzle , some of these folks have large wall decorations of puzzles on their walls. I am personally excited that everyday, I can learn something new about the world that I had no idea existed. The older you get the harder that becomes.
so, after that show, off to the Redners for some depression and supplies for the week to come. I just cannot help but ask the question to myself, "Where do these cashiers come from anyway?" Caves?
Tommorow is my last day of Computer school for word. AND a final interview for a job I covet. You may all cross your fingers or pray to Budah or whatever floats your boat.
We also bought Pomegranite juice cause its so good for you. We drank two shot glasses full each. it was mixed with Bluebery juice.
I am no going to bed.
oh and I bought pepper.
