My daily, leftover, bread

Okay,
Woke up...... which is good, since last Friday none of us did and we all slept until 7:30. It is good that Nick goes to school today.
So, I got up and made... tea.

I KNOW, I KNOW!!!

I just felt I needed a break from coffee and let me tell you it was really good and hot and it heated up my entire soul. I also had a fresh pop-tart, of my very own, not the left over remnents of another persons package and not the customary strawberry, but Blueberry. ( I am not allergic to Blueberry's). I have turned over a new leaf. (actually, all we had was this horrible huge bin of Folgers that someone, who doesnt really care about me, or they would never had sent it over, indeed sent it over)!

Ide rather drink tea than drink this abomination of coffee. BOYCOTT I say! Live free or die! (thats what they say in New Hampshire anyway) I WILL NOT DRINK SHIT COFFEE!

By the way, who was it that thought of this strange idea of crumbling up dried leaves and soaking them in hot water?

And then there is the coffee bean roasting and grinding and pouring hot water on them? I guess without TV, people sit and think of things such as this. Im glad they did.

How about Cheese, while Im at it? Wow, what a concept, adding stuff, heating it up and letting it curdle. Who looks at curdled milk and thinks," MMNNNN, ya know, if we let this sit for awhile and get the liquid out, put it into forms, we can make round hunks of cheese with it"!

Old fashioned butter churning? Who sat down and said, "I think Ill put some cream in this here wooden thing and ill just keep punching up and down on this here wooden dowel, while im sitting here on the porch and Ill just see what I get." Dairy farms must have been an odd place to be in the old days when these inventions were being born.

I picture this woman on her porch, this womans husband walking up to her after a hard day plowing the fields and he sees her pounding with the stick and saying, "Erma, what the hell are you doin?"(she was probably pissed at him and thought it was better to pound the cream in the wooden bucket than to cream him over the head with the bucket)
BUT, what made Erma put the cream into the churner in the FIRST place AND better yet, Who invented the churner?

Went to my computer class where I learned how to use a mouse and sign onto a computer. Thank God I went or I wouldnt be talking to you now.

Left there at 10:30 where I promptly drove myself into the nearest Dunkin Donuts drive through and ordered a real coffee.
Came home, checked my email (now that I can sign in,WAIT!!!! Tommorow is Internet class, !OH HOLY MOLY, Im not supposed to go ahead like that)

I got out the leftover broccoli and instead of letting it rot and stink up the fridge like I normally do, I made an omlette with onion, broccoli, cheese and egg. I let it simmer in the pan and as I flipped it, I flipped it right out of the pan and right onto the floor. The words that left my mouth are still hanging over the house and slowly rising into the atmosphere where they will , depending on the way of the winds, drift most likely past MIllersville. Keep your ears open my friend Gandalf.

I added to this healthy meal, (which I remade by the way with much gratitude from the pugs) 2 bowls of those puffed corn things AND a halloween cupcake. these corn puffie things are just awsome.

There are times when one must listen to their bodies and change it up a little.

Tonight it was tacitos, chicken and cheese, corn off the cobb and in a pan on a stove.

Sat in front on TV with Gilmores. Ate dinner, passed out for an hour. Was able to watch Heroes, which Im embarrassed to say that I like and my very favorite show which will soon be pulled because America just isnt interested enough in metaphysics just yet , Journeyman. Love things having to do with Time Travel and....... pumpkin pie. Maybe Ill make on tommorow.
