No Day is Wasted

Ah...a rather uneventful day, but a day nonetheless! Yes it's true that I often feel guilty about wasting days, and if there are no interesting stories to reflect upon before I go to bed, I get disappointed. But I've come to realize that a day is a day! Time will pass whether I do something worthwhile or not. But at the same time, I can't go out and have grand adventures every single day...oh I don't think I could handle such excitement. People need days where they lay around and do nothing, so I've come to accept "wasted" days!

So I come to you all now without a great story, or enlightening words, or even the results from my investigation that I promised you all before Thanksgiving! No today I will just get right on down to the "gritty details of what I ate today", if I may quote Fat Dan from the very first blog post in known existence.

Breakfast: Well, I slept through breakfast unfortunately. I slept until about 12:30, so I awoke only in time for the second meal of the day.

Lunch: For lunch today, I had to make due. There was not much in the house, so I rummaged through the cabinets and emerged with a pack of Ramen, or Oodles of Noodles as they've come to be called. Beef flavor. Very good stuff! I don't think I finished the whole bowl. Ya know...come to think of it, the broth was the best part.

Dinner: The family made a trip to Target, and we picked up many assorted goods. And thus, no two members of our happy troupe had the same dinner! Actually, I guess that's not entirely true seeing as my mom and dad both had the same thing. Oh well. I cooked up a box of a nice favorite of mine...potato skins! Now I'm sure it sounds kind of bland, but when you see/eat them, you'll understand! Absolutely magnificent! After dinner, the family sat around and we all watched "Lost in Translation", which was Fat Dan's Christmas present to us all. Excellent movie! We made some Chai Tea and did some Tai Chi, and it was rather enjoyable. And that's it! I'm now settling down to go to bed, or maybe just lay down till my headache gets better. We'll see!
