Today was uneventful, in the sense that I did not leave my house until later in the evening. But, there was much to be done, and by that I mean that I had two video games sitting in my room that needed to be shown who was boss, and I was just the guy to do it! So first I finished up Call of Duty 4, best one of the franchise, for sure. Loved every second of it, very difficult at time, but the most developed and involved story of all. Also being aptly named modern warfare, you got to get your hands on some exciting new things in the game. Collectively that took about 2 days to beat. A+ effort on the developers parts. The second game was Bioshock, a bizarre but exciting game. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be more of a sci-fi horror, or a puzzle game. There were lots of things going on at once, but it does all finally come together at the end, as strange as it is. But hell, I enjoyed it a lot. The game was longer than call of duty, but I would say that it was much easier in the sense that, you can never really lose. When you die, you start relatively close to where you were killed, so you don't lose much progress, but I'm not going to complain about that. Saves me from much unnecessary aggravation. Very good game as well. I felt quite accomplished over my gaming abilities to beat two games in less than 5 days from start to finish. Either I'm getting better, or games are getting easier...oh well, fun nonetheless.
Breakfast:
Bollocks!
Lunch:
Lunch was in celebration so to speak. My momma had just returned from an interview which she believed to have gone pretty well, so we went over to good ol' Burger King and I partook of a delicious Double Cheeseburger and French Fries, with a coke. My favorite thing from Burger King, and it hasn't changed since I left for school, still bad for you, still delicious.
Dinner:
My dear mother cooked spare ribs, but I was not hungry for them at the time, a few hours later I was sitting around doing nothing when my good friend Kate, whom many of you know, started chatting me up online, and she mentioned that she really wanted to go to friendlies and I said, so let's go! And we did. Me and Kate seem to be in the habit of eating all of the same things at the same times unintentionally. This held true at Friendlies. We both got Chicken Caesar salads. Always a treat. I don't like anything else on their menu honestly, but those salads are damn good. I hope they remain that way forever.
