Faux Christmas Dinner

well first off ive slacked slightly on my food blogging duties. my apologies. continuing...
this morning i woke up and started out the day the right way, with breakfast. i had waffles and coffee. then i went for a run. i must say it was a bit chilly outside today and immediately i regretted not wearing anything to cover my ears. i went food shopping for my mom and for things to bring back to school.
lunch i had some tomato soup. then i had some mint chocolate chip ice cream. then i helped clean up my house for company.
dinner so my mom and mrs bearss decided a few weeks ago to cook a big dinner and it gave me an excuse to come home. i had chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, string bean casserole and a biscuit. and for dessert apple pie and some cookie dough icecream on top. yes everyone icecream twice, i went running today i am entitled. this meal was full hilarious to say the least. before dinner started me, dan, timmi, brad and my dad were watching a scholars bowl on pbs, there was this girl who sat there the entire time with her mouth wide open and completely confused. during dinner mrs bearss was completely shocked when timmi decided to sing "uhh push it". the meal continued to be awkward. we met my brothers new girl, who is in middle school, much to my surprise. i was like SHUT UP YOURE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL! and then yelled at my brother for robbing the cradle when he is only in 10th grade. the funniest moment though would have to be when we talked about san diego and i said " i think thats german for a whale's ....." and only dan, timmi and i got the joke. dan proceeded to spit out his coffee (dont deny it i saw you). then we hung out a little watched the top songs of the 80's. to save you some time number one was livin on a prayer. then we went to hollywood video. where we were shocked to discover that they are no longer renting movies. it was devasting. so we just went to dan's and watched the game, sadly the packers lost. tomorrow i got back to school. =(
