"Life is Beautiful -- Enjoy."

Today marked the beginning of the end of this semester for me. In back to back to back classes this afternoon, I witnessed the end of three seperate courses, pending the respective finals. I had my last ever ACS period, the tedious freshman seminar that is almost unanimously disdained, but leaving it, I couldn't help but appreciate all the awkward silences and lack of enthusiasm during conversation at the helm of both Holly Grieco (1st semester) and Mr. Ashley Vaught (2nd). Well, at least Ashley Vaught made fun of us for participating in lifeless discussions, while Holly Grieco pretended that they were hunky dorie as the level of awkwardness increased with every passing silent second. I give props to Vaught, though, who passively blew off an end of the semester project for us. "In the words of Tom Cruise from Risky Business," he said to us one day, "'Fuck it.'" It was the best ACS ever.

Then came dear sweet Espanol, my last ever class of Spanish. Walking in the footsteps of my great Spanish teacher past of Metcoff, Quici, and ESPECIALLY Senor Kain, Tatiana did quite well for me over two semesters. No matter how much I dislike the spanish language, I can't help but love Tati. For some reason, we were talking about what we wanted encribed on our tombstones when we die in class today, and Tati said, "Life is beautiful -- enjoy." That encompasses her always peppy attitude, I think, and it's a wonderful philosophy to which all Dolists should subscribe.

Lunch:
There's about a half hour window in between Spanish and the last class of the day, and I've utilized it all semester to eat. Today was no exception. I went to Connelly with Jakob, where I got an old classic, the tuna hoagie. I took off the lettuce and tomatoe, and then you have quite a sandwhich.

After my final meal of that time slot, I got my adreniline running as I went to Theology to take my Final. Now, I knew it wasn't going to be very difficult at all, as Eddie Ruscil told us that it was the same exact format as both the quizes, which, admittedly, everyone should have aced, but it was more the fact that this was my last class with Eddie Ruscil that got me pumped up. He's the best professor ever. He uses the phrase "hunky dorie," for Dole's sake! As expected, I finished the "final" in less than a half hour, and off I was, back to the dorm, with three courses off my mind, but certainly not forgotten.

Dinner:
Hurray, I was at the Phillies game for dinner! I had the privelage of going with my dear father and Jon Mayer, so it was a good time, with much praising of Pat the Bat, Coste the Toasty, and Brett the Threat, the latter of which wasn't even in the game, but awesome nonetheless. I had three hot dogs, a little box of Dole Fries, and two cokes. Now that's a meal that trumps most found in the Spit!

We got back to my dorm a little before eleven, and tragically, my father took my big comfy recliner to begin the process of move out. This summer I proclaim to be the Summer of Dolism. It will be amazing. I won't be posting again till (hypothetically) next Thursday, and next Thursday, my summer will have already begun. We'll be meetin' real soon, Dolists, I think.

Life can be beautiful...I am not a Dolist so I cannot fully ascibe to the Life IS beautiful

Didn't Susan want to go to the game with her bros?

You are soooooooooooooo lucky to be done. I am still studying for midterms yo.

I would rather call French fries freedom fries before I called them Dole Fries.

Dole came to me in my dream two nights ago, and mandated that I spread the term "Dole Fries." It's the word of Dole, people, get used to it. Oh, and Susan doesn't like baseball, Anna Matthew.

Dolists are optimists? I'm not sure if that's in the (admittedly unwritten) bible, but it sure should be.

Have you seen the movie "Life is Beautiful"? It is truly a work of cinema.

Is Russell Crowe in it? If so, I am definitely interested.
