Nesto is back, and he is as bitter as ever. That's right, I've managed to severely piss myself off through a painfully frustrating 2 hour process of figuring what classes I'm taking next semester. But let's start at the beginning.
I alarm sounded at 7 as it always (usually?) does, and off to Calculus I went! We went over the answers to a review packet for our test on Thursday, and to my delight, Professor Simone let class out after we were finished, instead of starting a new section or something. This translated to about a half hour early, and I used this time before my 10 o clock at Connelly reading America's finest, classiest newspaper, USA Today. At around ten till, I head over to Tolentine, hop on the elevator, and arrive at my class on the 4th floor. To my pure exhileration, there was a sign posted outside the door saying that class had been cancelled! Back to the dorm I go, with a completely free afternoon!
I spend the couple of hours or so before my friends and I were scheduled to meet at Connelly for lunch playing some Smash Bros. This day: so far, so good. A little after 12 noon, I grab Bob and Vinny and we all head up to Main to meet 3FD.
Lunch:
I had a tuna hoagie and chips, all of which was very delicious. Our lunch conversation included accusing each other of being narrow minded, as well as the semantics of the "Lite" language, pronounced "Elite," but without the first E. Apparently this is the name for the dispicable gaming lingo, like n00b and pwn.
A little after one, I went back to the dorm to watch the Phillies. How could this day get any better so far? The Phillies beating the Mets in their home opener, of course! How sweet this victory was!
This brings us close to 6, when I, along with a sizable number of other hallmates, helped Vinny with his class registration. It was really intense, with the communication of numbers and codes and all sorts of kakah. Afterwards, after we successfully placed Vinny into all his classes, went to dinner at the Spit in a celebratory mood.
Dinner:
Unfortunately, the dinner selection was not quite as grand as our enthusiasm. I had lasagna, which should be good, seeing as it's really just cheese and sauce, but somehow it was marginal at best. What a sham. I also had this weird breaded fish thing, which I really had no stomach for. I did have buttered bread, though, which was quite good, as well as a few glasses of the second best cola.
After dinner, we all played Smash Bros. for an hour or so, which was barrels of fun, as always. If I were to end my post now, you might say that this has been a pretty solid day. However, the torture I put myself through after the Brawl session drove me crazy.
How the fuck did I end up with the April 9th, 10 PM class registration time slot, I ask myself? It's the absolute LAST TIME, meaning by the time I go tomorrow night, most, if not all good classes, will be filled. It didn't build my hope that some of the classes I was looking at are already full. Juggling workable time slots and the handy NovaTeachers.com, I worked really hard to find classes that weren't full yet and looked decent. Calc looked fine, and that's about the only guarantee. The Physics class that I NEED to get into to fill my requirement went from about 20 or so out of 100 students last night to 75 out of 100 tonight. I've had a lot of trouble finding a good Ethics class, but if I can't get into this Physics, I'm absolutely fucked. That would mean I would have to take Chemistry (if THAT'S open!) instead, and deal with a 3 and a half hour lab as opposed to an under 2 hour lab in Physics. It also doesn't help my mental well being that I'm notoriously awful at Labs. Sir Dan Nicastro can attest to that fact.
Anyway, I realized that I'm already royally screwed, so I'm not going to look at this again until tomorrow night, when I can register. That way, I won't get my hopes up over certain classes not filling up when they inevitably will. Last time slot... really Bob Dole? That sucks.

Team Jesus/Deadweight, ASSEMBLE!!!!
good luck on the registration yo!
2 hour physics lab? Try 45 minute max. Normally 30. Sometimes 5.
