Bus Stop Buddie

Does anyone here watch fox 29 in the AM or did you once watch fox 29 in the AM?
Well we do. Been watching it for years as we get ready for our days, as we drink our coffee.
We watch these people who have become, well, part of our family really.
Sue Serio became so familiar to me that one morning, when she was on a location and they were dropping hints about just where in the delaware valley she was, I noticed the location and i figured it out! The Bread Shop! the Bread Shop around the corner from my house! The Bread Shop near the H MART!!! OMG OMG OMG.
I jumped into my car before my brain could stop me and I drove over there like a lunatic because it was already her last broadcast for that day and I knew that I would miss her if I didn't get there fast.
I got there, the van was still there and the lights and the satellite hook up was still up so I parked and I ran in and I said, "Where is Sue"?
And she said"I'm right here" and she was! There behind the counter with the torpedo rolls was Sue!! Taller in Person, just as sweet. I was so happy to finally meet her.
But the reason for my blogg today is another character on the morning show
Bus Stop Buddie.
Hes this little cartoon character that they dress up appropriately so that the little kids know what to wear to school for what ever weather comes to pass.
I've also known bus stop buddie since my kids were small and it just occured to me that Bus stop buddie is still small.
It was at this point that my ever imaginative mind went off on a tangent.
Bus Stop buddie going to middle school. refusing to wear that stupid shirt that his mom bought him and those friggin dorky shoes! GOD MOM!
Bus Stop buddie tearing the jacket off that he left the house with and throwing it behind the bush while he lights a cigarette and chillin with his crew. THAT bus stop buddie (Probably called himself Bud when he's there) you know like the beer? Always a good time Bud,
Then high school comes along. His hair is now down his back and he aint wearin no hat bitch! His dealer comes up to the bus stop and sells him his quarter bag. They don't show THAT side of him. Thats all on the other side of the drawing, the one facing the wall, that and his middle finger hes got sticking up at you. the one wearing the really hot cordoroy pants in July, really huge ones hot socks, and when I say hot I dont mean cool. I mean hes NOT dressing for the weather anymore!
so anyway, thats all I have to say about that.
The other morning,(you kow, that other one) Dorothy Krisciuk was doing the traffic report and this actor/Commedian, whose name escapes me at this time, was standing there on camera with her and they were mocking, together, this work truck on I95 that had accidentally dumped a load of wood on the road. They were cutting up the workers, how slow they were moving, how they had no idea that they were being viewed on TV and being talked about and been made the butt of jokes! It was so funny! It was the best traffic report I ever saw! I emailed them and told them they ought to to that more often!

well today I was moving to late for anything to eat here so I drove to Dunkins and got myself a bacon egg and cheese croissant. YUM. Went to work and ate that and drank cofffe.
ran home to drive the president to work so I ate in the car some nachos I threw together while he drove. Later I made some popcorn and had a little of that.
came home, breaded chicken and cooked it on the griddle, peas and rice. Boring dinner but at least it was done. whatever.
who cares. Now Im just anticipatig picking up the president so that I cna get my Chai Tea Latte, my latest addiction. I LOVE THEM!!
