Today I woke up shivering. I had gone to bed at 4 A.M. and woke up in a daze at 7 A.M. My eyes quickly darted about the room. "Why is it freezing in here?" I thought to myself as I finally noticed why. All of the windows surrounding me were open, and the pocket doors hiding the room I had fallen asleep in away from the rest of the house, were closed. I threw on my blanket which luckily was at my feet, I didn't need it the night before, and went back to bed for two more hours.
At 9 A.M. I awoke yet again and decided it was time to stay up. So I wandered about the house trying to think of something to do. I filled out my paperwork to withdraw from Millersville, made myself some tea, and decided I would watch a movie. But what movie?
Well I just had to see it, but refused to pay for it. The Happening was on TV-Links, as I was sure it would be eventually. And yes, I did watch it. It was...alright. I really didn't have much interest in the movie as M. Night Shyammallammalamalan's movies aren't very good (For the record, I do know the correct spelling of his name). Anyway, So I watched it. So-so. I was bored. Then it was time to tackle the annoying task of the day. Trying to send the Temple head of transfer applications an Email. I tried twice. I spent a long time writing it too, and yet they sent it back both times. Like my email entitled, Concerning my transfer application from dlnicastro@yahoo.com is an epic virus of some kind that will all but cripple Temple Admissions' surely ancient computer network.
After that was done It was around 2 so I decided to make Lunch.
Lunch: Tuna Fish on toast with a Pepsi.
Delicious. Now that my annoying task for the day was complete, I was able to relax and enjoy myself for awhile, and that brings me to the most exciting part of my week, The Euro Cup 2008.
Soccer is one of my favorite sports to watch. I love when the World Cup is on, but that only happens every four years, so I have to make due for now with the Euro Cup. Honestly, it's still pretty exciting. Today The Netherlands played Romania, and France played Italy. These are the elimination matches which will carry the winners on to the Quarter Finals, which start on thursday. The Netherlands beat romania Two to zero, scoring two goals at the end of their game. Italy also beat France two to zero, knocking France out of the tournament to my delight. It was like watching the World Cup Finals from 2006 all over again.
Tomorrow Greece plays Spain, and the second game of the day and the last before the quarter finals start, is sweden vs. russia. Both should be good games, I suggest those of you who can, watch them. They are on ESPN at 2:30 every day this week. My prediction of who will win the entire thing goes to the Netherlands. Those crazy Dutch are doing pretty well in this tourney.
Here's how the Quarter Finals will MOST LIKELY turn out if you're interested in Tuning In:
QUARTER FINALS
Thursday, June 19th: Portugal vs. Germany
Friday, June 20th: Croatia vs. Turkey
Saturday, June 21st: Netherlands vs. Spain
Sunday, June 22nd: Sweden vs. Italy
After the soccer frenzy was over, I wandered about my home until my mom got back from work. We then had dinner around 6.
Dinner: Bagel Bites and Milk, and I had some peanut butter crackers right after which were really good.
After dinner Meredith came over and we watched Scrubs on TV for awhile. At 8 we realized Wife Swap wasn't on because it's Tuesday, so we decided to go to Dairy Delite.
Dairy Delite: Strawberry Milkshake, and Mer had some Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream.
We drove back to my house and decided to go for a walk. We walked all around Twin Oaks and counted how many rabbits we saw on the trip. Eight was the final tally. That's alot of Rabbits, but it doesnt surprise me that we saw them so often because I see them every day. There is a family of them living under my deck.
Mer left around 10 because she has to get up early tomorrow and head over to Temple for her placement tests. Poor girl has to catch a 6:55 train. Thats rough.
Welp, now it's about time to wind down, so I think I'll just take a bunch of Benadril because I can'y breathe through my nose and hopefully it will make me pass out and sleep through the night instead of coughing and sneezing.

I don't know what you're talking about, New Bill. M. Night Shamalawn's movies are awesome! ESPECIALLY The Village! I don't care what that pasty, bloated middle aged woman who said it ruined her birthday thinks -- what a twist!
Pasty, bloated middle-aged woman...your mom?
I used to have some respect for Shyamalan's movies, especailly after watching and discussing Unbreakable in Mr. August's class. But then he had to go ahead and make "The Happening" What a piece of crap.
Don't confuse your mom with mine, my bloated amigo. But no, the woman I'm referencing was this random lady that nearly attacked me after I mocked her in a not-so-quiet whisper (after we all saw The Village). Good times.
i can't believe u guys spelt it shamalawn...where do u guys work, ellis island?
can't comment on his work, because the only thing i've seen is the sixth sense and like six years after the fact too.
although, the floating bodies off the building in the trailers look prettty creepy
I woke up freezing too!
okay a couple of things
1. mint chocolate chip > strawberry
2. i love how you mentioned the rabbits, but not the man you paid to serenade me
3. benadryl is my drug of choice for sleeping and that explains why when i called you didnt pick up
Psshh. I don't need to pay someone to serenade you. If I wanted to do that, I could do it myself. And I have several times.
