Introduce a Little Anarchy...

As my dear sister prepared for a convention called "People to People: Young Women's Leadership Conference" this morning, which she so adoringly refers to as "Feminazi" or "Lesbofest" (she's expecting this week in New York to be filled with over the top woman power chants and Hillary Clinton lovefests, neither of which she's too keen about. Why she signed up for this I'll never understand), I quietly spent my early hours perusing the innerweb and the daily newspaper.

Lunch:
Before Mom and Dad left to drive my sister to the Big Apple, my mother cooked me up a Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich. Very tasty, though the cheese was a bit drippy.

After my dainty lunch, I showered, dressed, and accompanied my brother to the library, so we could return/renew some books we checked out a couple weeks ago. The book I'm currently reading, "Gun, With Occasional Music," is a mystery thriller set some time in the near future. I vowed that day at the library that I would seek the most random, strange looking piece of fiction I could find, and read it. Sure enough, this novel caught my eye, with its curious title, an author I'd never heard of (Jonathan Lethem, I think), and a cover picture set in a dim bar, with a Kangaroo dressed in a three piece suit sitting at the table just behind the one seating our hero, Conrad Metcalf. I had to have it.

So Jon renewed his bulky Richard Nixon biography, while I checked out Gun again. Unfortunately, no sign of Ray. Maybe he doesn't work there after all. Afterwards, we went to the mall, where Jon bought a Dark Knight poster. And me, I got a Coke Slurpee on the way home. Nothing beats it.

Dinner:
The rest of the afternoon was lazy and uneventful, with a few video games scattered here and there. At around 5, Mom and Dad returned from New York, and the former cooked up some hot dogs. Pretty tasty.

Once dinner was finished, Mom and Dad ventured to the movie theater to see The Dark Knight. Batman is so cool.

I saw the Dark Knight tonight in IMAX...it was awesome!!! I hope to get a Joker poster!

And Ray does work there! I see him without fail everytime I go. He works in the nonfiction/biography section. Like off to the side.

And I would like to introduce some anarchy over the lameness in posting a man of steel victory when it was clearly the DARK KNIGHT who won...who do u think you are? bill o'reilly?
