Sunday Blues

This morning I awoke to the clatter of my mother making tea. I was rather pissed, so I got off the floor where I had been peacefully sleeping and stumbled up to my bedroom. Now for those of you who think that I passed out drunk on my living room floor, please know that it is way too hot in my room and our air-conditioner is dismally broken, so I prefer to spend my nights on the cold, wood floor of my living room, underneath the ceiling fan and across from the rotating fan. The only downside: my mother and her kitchen, sadly located near enough the living room for me to hear the clatter of her pots and pans.

which is why i awoke at 7:30. However, I up and slept in my room until my mother awoke me by ironing. It was all I could do to fall out of bed and prepare for church. i tried on like a thousand outfits because some of them were too hot. Sunday morning is a serious trial for me with all the effort for looking nice for church.

on the way home, we decided to order dominoes because of this coupon we found in our car for an all-toppings pizza for 8.99. The pizza dude was like we don't have a copy of that coupon. He scoped it out and found out that it was a coupon from 2003. Which meant it was no good in 2008 :(

Came home, watched some LOST with my sister who is currently addicted and went to B&N to study some organic chemistry. I got distracted halfway through by Salman Rushidie's new novel "The Enchantress of Florence." I was reading that instead of my orgo book, when I got a text from my friend Simon.
Simon: "You ready for the quiz tomorrow on ch 6?"

Me: ....................what?

Simon: You didn't get the email yesterday?

Me: ..................

I rapidly start cursing mentally because chapter 6 is ridiculously long and complicated and I was only a few sections in!!! I was about to call everyone else in orgo to find out what was going down, when I got another text from Simon.

Simon: HAHAHAHA. GOTCHA!!! SIMON: 1, ANNA: 0 :))

Punk'd. I got punk'd bigtime. I was all ready to go home and pull an all-nighter. I already called my ride to pick me up early. I will get even with Simon tomorrow. Somehow. I already warned him though, so he's on the lookout. Turns out he was bored and on the train back to Drexel and looking for someone to mess with. Sadly, Anna was first in his address book.

Went shopping at BJ's for the essentials and now I am here, about to gulp down dinner and go back to Drexel. It should be fun.

Breakfast: no time.
Lunch: 2 slices of extra cheese and green pepper pizza with garlic sauce, ginger ale, 2 wedges of watermelon, and an orange.
Tea: regular coffee at starbucks with godiva dark chocolate
Dinner: naan with pumpkin and mushroom curry

PS, mad props on the batman majority. It's fun to be in the majority when you only voted once!! hooray for bruce wayne and his billions!
