Happy Birthday Blogg

One year ago , I was invited to join this Blogg and what compliment that was for me! And what an awesome outlet creatively it has been as well.
It also came at a very exciting time for you all as you were all leaving for your future lives in new worlds without each other. it was a bridge to connect us all.

Plus I'm the only official "parent" here and it was nice that you all were able to forget that and be yourselves despite that. I appreciate that more than you all know.

Most of you are more mature than me and wiser and absolutely by far the most intelligent people I have ever met and I consider myself lucky to be able to have conversations with you!

I was also laid off from my job one week from today, actually the very day I was to blogg that night I was laid off so I had a place to write about that and I also had something to keep me busy while I looked for a new job. (Yes September 12 is a day I will not forget.)

I never knew how I really felt about food and I had no idea I would enjoy writing about it so much and the stories that went along with it. Some of my best writing happened here at the Blogg, only because I took the time to do it. And I was surprised how excited I got everyday to read the new post! It was really cool and it was like you all never left.
It was also amazing how aggrivated I became when people didn't post on their days! It became a drug that I required and when it was not available.

My favorite post that I wrote was my birthday party posting. I sat down and thought, if I COULD have whatever I wanted in a party, what would that party look like. To think without restrictions was amazing. It's like a gift to yourself to give yourself in your mind all your little perks. I had so much fun writing it and I found myself laughing outloud as the thoughts came to my mind and what these people would be doing at my party. Jodi Foster doing flips on a trampoline? it helped me to get to know myself a little better.

I have secretly always wanted to write and I began writing a book when I was about 12(don't know what happened to it, I think my Mom found it and threw it away because i was writing down my sisters life ). My book dissappeared but im pretty sure I was copying Judy Blume's style of writing.

I never really had the opportunity to write after that. I just didn't have a reason. Now I do every week. sometimes I can be witty and sometimes I just talk. I try to put effort into it.
I for one would like to renew my contract.
Happy Birthday BLOGG! and may we have many more years to come
