My Name Is D.L. Nicastro

...And I am a proud member of the what did you have for dinner.com crew. I feel as though being one of the first few people invited into the blog before the addition of many others, all of which only made the blog that much better! We are a collection of intellectuals, and together we form an elite caste of internet food efficionados. I feel as though a quote, with a slight twist captures the essence of our comrodery.

"And from this day until the ending of the world but we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of bloggers, For he today who blogs with me shall be my brother, Be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition, and gentlemen in England now abed shall think themselves acursed they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whilst any speaks, that blogged with us upon St. Bloggers day! "

The day's travels began early. I awoke around 8 o clock and prepared myself for a meeting at Bucks concerning my online pre-calc class. I headed out around 8:30 and got there just in time for the orientation to start. It was exactly the same as the one I had for College Algebra so it was nothing new for me. We were out of there by 10:30 and I rushed home, for I had promised my dearest Meredith that we would do something fun today while she was home from school for the weekend.
We had initially planned to travel to New Hope and wander about. Unfortunately the weather did not agree with us and it was a muggy and crappy day over all. We decided to stay home this time. We drove to Mer's house as we discussed random topics and decided that we wanted to get some lunch, so off to brothers pizza we went!

Lunch: Two slices of Buffalo Chicken Pizza of course. I was only able to finish one unfortunately, but I saved it and brought it home for later. I had a pepsi as well.

After brothers we headed back to mer's house. We figured that to save her some money at school we hould go food shopping while she was home so that she wouldnt have to spend ungodly amounts of money on a meal plan that she probably wasnt going to take full advantage of. Not because she is not a fan of food, but because the food is not up to par with food blogger standards. We headed off to Staples first though, she needed a three subject noteook. There was not a single one to be found. We then tried Office Depot. Again, nothing. So we just went food shopping. At redners we grabbed anything we could think of that she would want to eat to help her make it through the next few weeks. And we did. It was a sucessful journey.
After Redners we decided to go to Kmart to try and track down a brita water filter for her room. We came across one and snatched it up before anyone else could. Then we looked at some halloween costumes that were hidden in the back. They were pretty sweet I must say.
Once our mission was complete we rushed back to Mer's house and decided to spend a rainy day the proper way and watch a movie. Pay it Forward was the movie of choice. Aa good movie at that, with a nice message behind it. It stinks that it was so sad, but I like that movie and would recommend it to anyone.
We had a snack of course during the movie, because what's a movie without treats?

Movie: Chocolate ice cream. Mmm.

Once the movie was over we sat around for a little while and before long it was time for diner.

Dinner: Pasta noodles and chicken alfredo. It was delicious. My complements to Mrs Randall for a job well done.

After dinner we decided to play some dominoes. I, myself, had never played before but I picked up on the game fast and ended up whipping everyones asses. Hell Yeah. Before the game ended however, Timmi Bearss showed up at the Randall residence and as always he asked mer if we could go to the BFD. After much prodding she finally agreed and off we went.

BFD: I had the founntain special club. That sandwich is a monster and I am incredibly stuffed right now. I had two cups of cofee to boot.

We headed back to Mer's house and said our goodbyes to Timmi as he scooted home. Then we came inside and fulfilled our blogging duties. We don't mess around when it comes to food. She has fallen fast asleep since I started writing so I'm going to go attempt to wake Mer up now, BUT I first want to thank you all for allowing me to take part in the food blog. It's been alot of fun and I am excited for many more years of food and blogging to come. My name is D.L. Nicastro, and I love the food blog.
