Saturday night

Hello all. thought Ide take this time to Blogg.
I don't know whose night it really is.
Today was not like any other Saturday for me because I wasn't able to sleep in like I like to . Up with a headache at 6. oh well, nothing an excedrin migraine can't take care of and a cup of my favorite drink.

A little scanning of the internet as I drank it down in the magical twilight of sun up. crickets still chirping from the night before. This time of year is just so awesome.

My favorite times of the day are sun up and sundown. the twixt and between. Magical times of day. I also love overcast days such as this although I could do without the humidity.

This week was very trying for me for some odd reason. I really just hate getting up at 6 let me tell you. I also hate rushing around.

I havent mentioned this but for the past few weeks I have been making dolls. They arent your typical, what you think of dolls, but I made myself a really cool witch with a pet pug and while my veterinarian was over checking out Nannybugs scratched eyeball 3 weeks back(yes you all have missed alot) she mentioned that she just got a pug puppy and then I showed her my doll.
Next think you know, she commissioned me to make her one for her friend only instead of a pug dog she wanted a rat terrier.
Very exciting for me. So I made that and she bought it and now Im in the process of making two more for her and some to sell on EBAY. So cross your fingers for me folks, I may have found my artistic outlet that will make me some moolah. So I have been sewing for weeks now. I sew at work at lunch. I sew when I come home in front of the tV, you name the time and place and I am sewing.

So I had toast this am , after the first cup of coffee and I discovered a female artist I had never heard of before today on TV names Abra Moore. Take a listen. shes groovey. Listen to Sorry. thats kind of a nice song for a day like today.

Went to the drug store with hubs about 10, got some items, went to state store for wine.
I buy some of my wines by the illustrations on the labels. Todays new brand had a nude woman with long flowing blonde hair clinging to a flying bicycle. it looks very vintage, 1920's.
Came home made some eggs and had more toast and more coffee and , sewed.
Made a date with my Mother to eat at the Canal Street Grill at 1:00, in Yardley. Me, Bill and her had wonderful greek food, Spanikopita, wings and greek salad. Baklava for desert.

I had a Wendy's baked potato for snack at 9, as I watched Sixteen candles yet again,( classic movie that came out when I was 18) and I will most likely finish off my evening with a glass of the wine I bought.

I also much mention that I am going to be a new mother most likely on Monday. Or maybe Sophie will be. We all will be actually.

Bill found this kitten in front of his job on Thursday and he and his boss thought it was dead, that is until it blinked. It was so weak it couldn't move at all. They figured it was a goner but took it to Newtown Veterinary center and don't you know this little baby survived. It's over 8 weeks old, Orange Tabby. Apparently the offspring of one of the feral cats near Core Creek Park, lord knows that place is infested with them, but lucky for this little kitten, his mother was most likely hit by a car(I know that sounds awful but picture this little guy, infested with fleas, as he was, mites, ticks, living wild, scraping around for food all winter) Now he is with a vet tech, who took him home with her for the weekend, to feed him every two hours, on a warm heating pad, de wormed, de flea ed. AND where better to live than at the GIllies house because as you know, we pamper our pets.
Now I am searching my mind for really cool names. Raleigh Sinclair came to mind, Vincent, etc etc. We do want a people name. feel free to throw some out there.
If you ever find a hurt animal like this, take it to a vet, they will take it in, just so you know. Also, if you find a wild animal, call me because the ARC center for wild animals will take them in. I can give you the number or you can google it. I have saved many baby birds, rabbits, etc. Look at the happy ending we had. Imagine if they had just left it for dead and did nothing.
so, you can see, I have been distracted thes last few weeks but I have been reading along.
Oh and we got Pizza from the old Las Vegas Pizza. It's now called Brothers. It had a thicker crust and not much sauce. t was good. I guess it will do for now until Amatos rebuilds.
Bon Appetite

I like the name Walter. But Vincent is also a great name!

Can you believe I only saw the ending of Sixteen Candles?

Best of luck in the doll-making business. And Spanikopita is amazing! It's what we eat here in between meals.
