College is very, very hard. This is what my father tells me everytime i am near a textbook. Which is most of the time. The rest of the phrase comes from Miss Stacey. You can ask her for the explanation (it's more fun to guess anyway) :D
I'm so sorry to be blogging on such an uneventful day, seeing as all I did most of today was study. That is until 5, 6ish when I couldn't take it anymore and decided to veg out by putting on the tv, cooking, and all out vegging out.
At first, I oscillated between Pride and Prejudice and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Then P&P ended, so I watched some of Notting Hill before getting bored and switching to The Santa Clause. That ended, so The Santa Caluse 2 it was! Thank goodness LOTR is so long and is on whenever the rest is on commercial.
The Two Towers is my favorite. I love Rohan better than all the lands of Middle Earth. My favorite scene in this movie is when King Theodin is at his son's grave. I relate a lot to Theoden. Eowyn and Eomer are also rather awesome. I normally fast-forward through all the Gollum-Sam-Frodo bits, because it gets tedious. Sam and Frodo have this very sloooow tense sexual thing going on. Even Treebeard irritates me sometimes with his slow speech. I'm a bit fastpaced in everything. I even play Monopoly quickly.
But I love Merry. There's a quick one for you! He's my favorite hobbit. I want to throw Pippin in the nearest well, evertime he does something silly, which is often. I want to set Frodo and Sam loose in a boat sailing the open sea so they can stare deeply into each others eyes like always. But Merry's the shit!
But now, I'm just sitting around waiting for Spiderman to come on so I can see James Franco shaved. Normally, I only see his youthful unshaven face on "Freaks and Geeks," a fabulous show from the late 90's which I am entirely obsessed with. But, I have admired James Franco since I discovered he was trying to get his PhD in English from Columbia. And that he was going to live in Paris to learn French to make a better PhD candidate. AND that he paints and has galleries with his paintings in it.
No. I'm not obsessed at all.
Do you think it'd be odd if I named any children I had after LOTR characters? Would they get made fun of that much on the playground? Hmmm names I like...Theodred, Faramir, Samwise, Arwen, Eowyn, Galadriel. I also think the name Mithril would be cool. But hard to spell. And say, for those who are not aquainted with Middle Earth.
My nerdiness is exuding from every word in this blog. I'll do something really badass next time to make up for it...I'll make sure of it! Just remind me, so I remember to do it. And blog about it.
Breakfast: Bagels with cream cheese'n chvies and French vanilla coffee and a banana
Lunch: a slightly charred grilled cheese sandwich with spinach and corn on the side and hot chocolate
Dinner: Bow-tie pasta with alfredo sauce, mixed vegetables, and a chicken patty thing. And pomegranate! It's fun to peel, like exploring a honeycomb. That's edible and a brilliant red color!
I'm too enthusiastic about all the wrong things!

Arwen could work... and maybe Eowyn.
Hahahahahaha
I like that you quoted me!
Pomegranates are AWESOME!
I too LOVE Pomegranate!! I am very good at peeling them without squishing the juice out of them and they are sooo beautiful.
Their DNA is amazing. it makes you think about all the different plant DNA that all form all the cool and unique plants and vegetables and fruits and animals. Kiwis are another cool looking plant and star-fruit.
And snowflakes! Snowflake are amazing.
Gladriel is a great name-for a daughter. THAT is the character that DAN should have made me because that is my alter ego.
Love this blog.
I'm totally naming my daughter Leia, and if I have a son, he'll be Luke.
=]
just make sure they know they're related early on...
