It was a chilly night in Philadelphia on the night of November 11th. A studious biology giant was on her way to a make-up mcat class on upenn's campus. Fearing tardiness, she hurried and power-walked. While crossing 34th and Market, she noticed a man on a bike riding in the opposite direction. Not wanting to change course, lest the bikeman swerve at the same time, and run into her she continued on in a straight path.
It would seem the bikeman thought the same thing about the pedestrian, and so continued on his path. And so these two stubborn crosswalkers collided. The man on the bike freaked as the pedestrian stumbled around, catching the spectacles that flew off her face. Sadly, the specs were a bit crushed and the pedestrian a tad confused. She kept walking, not wanting to be late of her class. The biker yelled after her, begging her pardon and concerned for her health. The pedestrian kept on going until the biker got so obnoxious that the pedestrian turned and dizzily stated that she was fine.
And the pedestrian now has a beautiful bruise spreading on her thigh.
School sucks and I can't even walk down the street without being maimed. How awesome. I'm living for Thanksgiving break right now. Must go and study. When you cross a street, veer from any bikers. Seriously.
