Litost! and other Haikus, or, How I learned to Stop Caring and Just Be Strange

A purple cloud brews
In the upper atmosphere
Will it pass or stay?

Dull blades of gray grass
Crunch underfoot, I enter
The frozen forest

Fleet foxes fling feet
For fresh feathers feel no force
To feed Gravity.

Windows are made of
Broken wills and bent spirits
Not glass or plastic

Yes, my legs are short
And my arms are useless, but
My eyes see more still

Litost! the crumb'ling
Of constructed mindsets
And sanity, too

cheeze cheeze berry flan
coke coke creamy jam
spaghetti sauce and meatballs

Breakfast: Last night/this morning I had coffee.
Lunch: Tomato basil bisque and a roll to soak it all up. Also, a chocolate chip cookie.
Dinner: We'll see.
