Sorry dudes and dudettes,
I believe the snow on this web-page kept me from being able to blog. I literally couldn't get on and I was way to lazy to write Dan about the issue but I am having no trouble now that the snow is gone I see.

I did like-the drawing's though. I even tried at work but I'm so self conscious of getting caught or worse yet ,the IT department somehow getting hold of my blogs, that I just cancel them.

So, I have been eating and cooking a lot. Winter seems to be the time when I seek out new recipes and boy did I find a lot of new ones.

I also have been working on my doll EMMA. She is almost complete. and now that I have a camera, I can show them t you all as they are completed so this should be fun for you(HAHA)

Last weekend, I finally decided to take out those Cows calendars and cut out the pics of the cows that I like and make something out of them(which is the reason I saved them for the last few years) so I wiped off the dust and I cut away. I made pins out of the small ones ands I made a large recipe box out of an old stationary box and pasted some cows on that. Its really cool looking and big enough to hold all of the new recipes that I have printed off line, thus saving me re writing them on cards.
Last week I made rustic potato chowda! it was good! this one called for 8 slices of bacon! YUMMY I had a rosemary olive oil bread to go with(storebought)
I've also made Swedish meatballs and dijon saucy fish and others I can't remember them all right now.
I also found this FABU web page called 101 cookbooks. its run by a young lady called Heidi and she is linked to many of other cool cooking sites I think-you guys might like her. She's no old fogie like Julia Child's or anything. She's pretty hip and mod.(yo yo.)
I saw her Madeleines recipe and I thought, I want to make homemade madeleines and take business away from starbucks! So I then realized that in order to make these fancy fancy little babies you must indeed possess an official madeilines pan.
So off to Amazon I went. I now have the pan and now all I need is the ingredients and Im all over it.
Then, I was surfing and I saw on ebay a corn on the cob pan for corn bread! I just had to have that as I make corn bread alot. (I think its from that past life as an american indian that I had) just love the corn texture.
I went to ebay for this one but I got distracted by work and I must say I forgot to go back and order it.
I DID wake up early this am and I caught the end of some commercial for a dance excersize video. so off to Amazon I went and within moments, it was mine.
I just LOVE getting things n the mail! I never buy expensive things, I just get little stuff like books(used) and pans. and spanish tapes, and excersize dancing with the stars tapes.
So thats all thats been going on with me. January is my hibernation time of year. I love hunkering down with books and tea and doll making and movies. I only leave the house when I must. I LOVE this time of year for this very reason. Come spring and Ill be a busy bee again and I wont be able to hibernate again until mid summer when its too hot to go out again. Summer us just as bad as winter for me. In fact Summer has always been more depressing.
I had coffee and shredded wheat this am. I have no idea whats coming for dinner. Ide like a nice slice of amatos pizza but, that aint going to happen. I wish we could find a comparable place. V& S has great pizza but everyone and their uncle already knows about this place so the lines are horrific.
