Please, America, Beat Your Children.

Today unfortunately was not a very exciting day in the world of food. My day was mostly consumed by working on a valentine's day gift for Mer. In my down time I watched some Man vs. Wild and Wildboyz which is such a funny show. I miss Jackass, that was probably the only show on mtv that I enjoyed (And because of Jackass I got Viva La Bam and Wildboyz so I still get a dose of it from time to time). Some homework got done but I still have plenty to do over the next two days.
I also finally got back into Wuthering Heights today. I'm gonna finish that soon. I like it but I always seem to start reading and then my mind wanders after reading a chapter. Then I instantly find myself doing other things wondering where the free time I had went. Such a shame. My mom stole my copy of Jane Eyre and started reading that today. Maybe we'll swap when we're done.
What else......

Breakfast: Nothing. Causes Cancer. I'll have no part of that.

Around two I had lunch, while watching Jackass. There must have been a marathon on today or something, jesus.

Lunch: Two grilled cheese sandwiches, and some coffee.

I make lists all the time I guess, but I made one recently of types of coffee to try from Starbucks. I want to go through all of the Extra-Bold coffees. A strange goal yes. I had Sumatra already and I've moved on to French Roast which is very good. I've had about 5 cups of it in the past two days.
I read some more of Wuthering Heights until 4:45 when it was time to head off to work. When I got there I noticed once again the morning shift had not put any of their returns away so three carts full of returns awaited me. I was already pissed about that. So trying to keep my head up I dove right into my returns and my section. I knocked the returns out and cleaned my section and I thought it was going to be an easy night, but I couldn't have been more wrong. At 7 o' clock a man and his two kids walked into my section and raised hell! They picked one of everything off of the shelves and just threw them on the floor, and not purposely, he just couldn't control his damn kids. This is why I'm in favor of beating the shit out of my children, or at least the boys. Over my dead body will they act like that in public.
I followed behind them trying to keep my section clean but before I knew it, it was time for my break. I left for 15 minutes and came back to two more carts full of returns.
"What the hell is that?" I asked Noel, my manager.
"Returns, those kids destroyed your section, I tried to gather them all up for you so you didn't spend an hour doing it."
Off I went again cleaning. I only stopped cleaning and putting things away for that oh so short 15 minute break and I was over it. Extremely grumpy by now I swept the floors and got carts and by 9:20 we were done.
I headed home to get changed and then I went to the BFD.

Dinner: A cheese steak, fries, and a mountain dew.

The diner was a nice trip. Myself, Mer, her brother Brad, Timmi Bearss, and special guest Amy Huff were all there and it was a blast. We pwned photohunt and word dojo at our table and before we knew it, it was midnight. Man how time flies. I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow. Uhg. It's been a long day and I need some sleep. Oh and Dan, give me that website already, I want to publish my book.

oh man, I definitely plan on beating any spawn I have after reading that!
How old were the kids?

Jane Eyre!! I love that book...the end of it gets a bit dreary and I almost want to skip that bit, but then the absolute end just picks up and is awesome.

have you finished your book then?

Yeah I finished. I was about to post on here and say I was having a cover art contest. I think it would be cool to see what everyone who gives a crap could come up with, and of course I would credit them.
