Plinky Plink!

Ah my lovely plinky plinks! What a boring day it was for me!

I was supposed to wake up at 8 am today to take a practice MCAT. But, I hit the snooze button and next thing I know I awoke to my Scooby Doo ringtone.

"Oh damn."

It was a group member who was supposed to come over so we could make ice cream cupcakes. We're in this technical writing class where we're supposed to write a set of instructions. My group came up with the brilliant idea of making ice cream, which took about 5 steps. It was too short! So we decided to make ice cream cupcakes which was another 3 steps!!

I'm really thrilled by the idea, which is why I loathe group work. It was assigned groups which is why I'm stuck with the group I'm with. They're nice but not the most creative or communicative and its so hard to get them all together. And even if we do, its not like we get much accomplished.

Anyway, we had made the ice cream yesterday (it was messy) and so this morning I hurridly threw on a sweatshirt over the pjs to let in my groupmembers. There was only one there and I moodily drank some coffee while muching on Nutter Butters while listening to him discuss Monty Python (it was my fault--I asked him about it--but it wasn't that terrible anyway so whatever). Anyways, made the cupcakes and stuck them in the freezer.

I decided to make something inventive for lunch. Rather than making easy mac, I cooked some vegetables and poured them in tomato soup. I'd never thought about it, but cooking is a lot like getting dressed. Mix and match, some things go together and some things just don't. And these things that don't go are those two things. It tasted not so great, but I ate it anyway with some fish fillets.

Went to my one class; it was pseudo boring. Came back and did the practice MCAT I swore to myself and my counselor that I'd do. Pretty boring and I felt like I didn't know a lot. Anyways, I ran home to use the bathroom and then dragged my suitey Lex to the library with me so we could get the free breakfast. Her one precondition was that we return by 9:30 so she could see McDreamy propose to Meredith. When I expressed some surprise at these precondition, her response was "I've been watching this show for 5 years, this is the moment I've been waiting for!" So I was like, okay fine. However, she took ages to find her ID. When we got there, she realized she didn't have her ID. And I was like, "MOTHER****ER!!" So I gave her my phone and keys and told her to go back to the apartment and get her ID while I went and had breakfast. She soon returned with the news that her ID was in her pocket to begin with! Breakfast however, was excellent!

So now, I'm watching Grey's with her and of course, McDreamy DOESN"T propose to her. How humorous, but so predictable. Let me just state that I'm not a McDreamy fan. At all. It's almost personal. Now I'm off to do some physics and laundry, how great!

Breakfast: Nutterbutters and coffee
Lunch: homemade tomato vegetable soup and fish fillets and disgusting homemade ice cream cupcakes
Dinner (which was actually breakfast): eggs, french toast, taters, sausage links, coffee, and a blueberry muffin. I really like breakfast a lot. <3
