Dead.
Just kidding. Let's keep this bitch up and running. I for one will not sit idly by and watch it slip into oblivion. No sir!
Anyway, today started early, at 7:56 A.M. my phone vibrated at my side. I opened my eyes frustrated and expecting it to be time to get up. I flip open my phone to see a text message from fellow food blogger Meredith.
From: Mer
Recieved at: 7:56 A.M.
Message: jerk
"Wha...?" I grumbled to myself, "I didn't even do anything..." I quickly responded with, "why am I a jerk?" and almost slipped back into my coma before I recieved the response, "You have off."
Leave it to Mer to deliver some great news. BCCC didn't have classes today and I had time to finish all of my homework. Good thing too, because I had a lot of it! I finished two essays today and it took up the majority of my snow day. I talked to Mer and shovelled the driveway as well when I was taking a break from my papers.
Breakfast: On snowdays I will eat breakfast and risk getting cancer. I had a bowl of crunchberries. They are so good, I couldn't resist.
After eating my crunchberries, I played with my puppy who was quietly resting in her bed. I woke her up and we played around for a bit, then she proceeded to bark the rest of the day like I expected she would. She never shuts up. Oh well.
Then it was time to shovel. With the help of my sister who also had a snow day, we finished within 20 minutes.
We both came inside and I made lunch.
Lunch: Two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I had some Gold Coast blend coffee with it. I love me some coffee.
When I finished my lunch break, I finished up my paper for history about Woodrow Wilson's reelection in 1916 and took a reading break.
I am halfway done The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, it is very interesting in my opinion. I do often find myself now planning what book to read next before I'm finished the first one, but I don't want to read more than one at a time.
Dinner: Around 6, I was expecting to head to the diner later, so I had only a little of what my mom had prepared. Mashed Potatoes, Mushrooms, and Steak. I had some mushrooms and mashed potatoes.
I returned to my computer and did some more homework/talked to Mer patiently waiting for the diner trip which was to come.
Diner: I, accompanied by Ryan, Kevin, Ian, Nick, and Ray, headed for the diner at 8 o' clock. I had myself the Fountain Special Club. So good. Turkey sandwich with lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes which I usually take off, on toasted white bread. Mmmmm. I had some more coffee with it and we all chatted about the usual bizarre movie ideas we could concoct. One of which I was very much in favor of, but I won't expose the title as it would give away the entire movie. But Ian, if you read this, JPw/D MUST HAPPEN. It's genious!
All right folks, that's all I have for you today. May your adventures in food be exciting and plentiful!
