I Spent a Lot of Monet When I Was in Paris

I woke up today to a vibrating phone. Mer had texted me and asked if I was up. I responded as promptly as a still half asleep person can. "Yeah I'm up." "Okay I was just making sure, I didn't want you to be late for class."
I then thought to myself, "am I late?" quickly looking at my clock I see that it is only about five minutes past eight. "Why would she think I was going to be late?" Not two seconds later my mom wandered into my room and said, "don't you have to get up to go to school soon?"
"Why does everyone keep asking me that?" I grunted. I started to think, maybe I am late...Is my clock wrong?
I rushed from room to room checking the clocks, making sure that I didn't have to haul ass down the highway. Luckily, that wasn't necessary, it was only a few minutes past eight, and I didn't have to be on the road until roughly nine o' clock.
Class today was nothing terribly exciting, U.S. History we talked about the period in the fifties just after the Korean War. Then in my World War 2 class we watched a movie about the submarine campaigns in the war. Pretty interesting, at least I thought so. Though of course whenever someone plays a movie at school im sure everyone here can agree with me that as soon as the lights go out, its pretty hard to keep your eyes open, no matter how interested you are.
Anyway, I came home and ate some lunch extremely quickly so I could get some homework done. From the moment i sat down after getting home, I opened my World War 2 book and read through 8 chapters, page for page, non-stop. It was a killer, but I got it done. I then moved on to my U.S. History homework. Two chapters there. I was all history'd out by 4:30. Then it was time once again to head to work. Uhg, so much for a break between class and work anymore. Work sucked as usual, I swear that place is killing my soul. All of my co-workers agree to which is unsettling. Who would have thought that working at an arts and crafts store would be so damn stressful and annoying? Not me, obviously when I took the job there. But anyway, got out of there around 9:30 and had to grab something to eat and then sat down to try out my new paints which I bought. I have always been envious of people who can paint better than half decent. So I decided to try it, and it didn't turn out so well, as I pretty much expected. That was pretty much it for my day, I didn't do that much other than homework. I'm sorry for the boring post, I need to head off to bed now. I have class early in the morn' and I don't want to fall asleep in my chair. I promise to write a better post next time.
