Charlie

Hey everyone!

It's been way too long. Like Erik I'll give a little recap of my life... graduated in May (woo!) started grad school in July (Boo!) so I didn't have much of a break. I'm working on getting my DPT... which if I survive, I will never have to go to school again! That's not entirely true... but I'm going to tell myself that to push through... poor Dan... he will have to go to school everyday. Speaking of Dan, we are engaged =D. I have had a few suggestions to get married at the diner... idk about that but maybe they can cater it... or bring us some pie and elephant ears (still never had one... need to get on that). Besides that my life is very is pretty uneventful... school school and more school. I am doing working on a cadaver this semester... which if you are weird like me, is pretty interesting. It is so foul though. As a result I have been eating less meat than usual. After spending a few hours in the lab, and coming home to like ribs, or a whole chicken, where you have to eat the meat off the bones is kind of repulsive. My number one suggestion for anyone that has to do this is to just completely pretend its not real, and keep a sense of humor... because if you don't you will just focus on how disgusting it really is. For example, the medical students (who I share my cadaver Charlie with) have decided to cut his head in half, straight down the middle. so in order to orient yourself we are constantly putting the skull back together and it makes a noise very similar to the sound of coconuts clanking together, like the scene from the monty python movie where they are pretending to be on a horse... so of course now I crack up every time I hear that noise. Hope I did not make you all lose your appetite....

Breakfast: english muffins, wawa hazelnut coffee (I'm addicted)
Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some leftover veggies from last nights dinner
Dinner: not sure yet, but Dan and I are going to Dave and Buster's tonight for my cousin's party... so something there that is probably unhealthy.

Also for the record, salt on drinks from Starbucks is not as disgusting as I once had thought, but it needs caramel with it.

And yea, salted caramel kicks much butt.

Who gets to sit next to Charlie at the wedding reception?

I can't imagine. I get squeamish just watching shows with gory scenes, which includes most things just past needles.
