Why does everybody have blue balls?

I'll write about camp in an hour or a few.

Fantastic Dan, you stole my blog spot the other day. I'M after Anna, and you didn't even gimme a chance to write. =[

Saturday, May 30

Crap! It's my turn!

Yo, peeps. I'll post Sunday when I get back from New York Citay.

Wednesday, April 29

GAH!

I fail at life, I'm sorrrrrrry.

I don't have much to write about it seems... Or maybe I do, but don't realize it?

I hate Heart of Darkness. The most epic fail in literature history, I think. Except for Twatlight. I was supposed to write a paper on it, but I don't think I'm gonna.

I went to Playwicki park on Saturday, took some pictures, and said pictures are in an album on Facebook. Check it out, son.

House last night was good, but I'm most looking forward to next week's episode, and the season finale, to be honest.

I've been watching a lot of anime lately; mostly this one called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni aka When They Cry. It's awesome. Killer little girls rock!

Adorable scene:

Creepy/crazy scene:

SO MUCH CONTRAST!

I also got a Twatter. The temptation to stalk Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, and various YouTubers (hotforwords, communitychannel, sxephil, and whatthebuck) became too great. Mine is: twitter.com/stiggysaurus. Feel free to follow me. Just on the Interwebz, not IRL. I couldn't handle a stalker.

That's all I have to say as of right now... I'm boring! I can't wait for summer!

breakfast: bananas with peanut butter
lunch: a nap
dinner: WENDY'S!

P.S. I just realized I used the word "twat" twice in this entry... Lulz.

P.P.S. I got Starcraft.

Sunday, April 26

SERIOUSLY?!?!

I HAD NO IDEA ANNA POSTED ON TUESDAY!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? IS IT THE CRACK? I'LL BET IT'S THE CRACK!

I'm really tired, I'll write a real blog tomorrow/today.

Monday, March 30

Lulz.

The ShamWow guy got arrested for beating a prostitute.

I'll finish my update after House. =D

---------

Anna just bet that I can't blog without mentioning House.

Damn it. She's right!

Good episode, but moooooving on.

Today, nothing good happened. It wasn't a terrible day, but not particularly great. Well, at first it was. Pookie bit me, and it was completely out of the blue and scared the shit out of me. I don't feel like explaining it all, but yeah. I didn't do anything abnormal, I was just calling her to get in her cage, and she just started growling and it made no sense at all.

Since nothing cool/interesting/fun happened today, I'll go over my weekend!

On Saturday, I took some pictures of my neighbors' kid, Michelle, for photography. I think they're gonna turn out good, because kids are cute and such. Later, I met up with a bunch of people at A1 Steakhouse and had some delicious Japanese cuisine. After eating, we ventured to H Mart where I bought some Pocky and other snacks. We then went to Paul Harrsch's house where we watch Spirited Away and chatted. It was good times. After leaving 'round midnight (good song, btw), I went to sleep... Sort of. I think I watched a few episodes of Cheers first...

On Sunday, I woke up at 2:30 and pretty much just played Katamari for the rest of the day... O.o

Ummmmmmm... That's it!

Breakfast: Blueberries
Lunch: Erm... nothing.
Dinner: Pasta!

Monday, March 9

Your tush is like the pistons on a Ferrari.

I swear I don't mean to do this, but it seems that lately my posts have been on nights when House is airing, or the night after House has aired.

Maybe it's fate, perhaps?

Anyway, this will be a placeholder until I write a proper entry later.

In the meantime, here's a preview clip of tonight's House episode. XD

I'm sorry I'm so obsessed.

...It's later!

House was awesome, and that's all I'll write.

No wait, that was a lie. I have one more thing.

That was adorable.

Okay, I'll post something real.

Let's see... I had a really busy weekend.

Thursday night, I pulled my third all-nighter, in order to start/finish a Lit paper. You know how when you stay up all night, you don't really feel tired at first, but then it eventually hits you that you're really freaking exhausted? This is what happened. I ended up not going to bed until 12 AM, though, because I was hanging out with Sam, which was bad because I had to wake up early on Saturday.

Saturday, I went to this craft and floral warehouse place with my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. I didn't buy anything! Of course, afterward my mom and I went to Target, where I did indeed buy things. Not a lot, though, which is something to be proud of. I think I just ended up playing Eternal Sonata for the rest of the night...

Sunday, I had to wake up earlier than I would have liked (again) in order to go shopping for bridesmaid dresses. It was fun, so I had no problem waking up early, actually. My cousins Carolyn (the bride to be), Melissa, Laura, their friend Alexis, and I went to David's Bridal. It was packed with ladies. Women are weird. Anyways, Carolyn said we could get whatever dress we wanted, as long as it came in the color champagne. Well, we all ended up liking the same dress! So, it pays to not be a picky bride! Your bridesmaids will be happier to accommodate you! I don't even know if I'll ever get married, not that I don't want to, but if I do, and if I do have bridesmaids, they can wear whatever the hell they want! Amie can wear a pantsuit. Anna, you can wear a sari, because you look beautiful in them. Sam can wear sweatpants or something. Whatevers!

Then later Ray wanted me to go see The Watchmen. So eventually I agreed, but then I realized that I couldn't because I had not finished the book and also because I was dying. My mom, my dad, and I are all sick. It's insane! So I stayed home and went to bed at 7 o'clock.

Yesterday, I don't remember. I went to school early to print something out, came home and took a long nap. And then watched House. Tried to play Eternal Sonata, but was too tired. Went to bed at 3 am. Oh dear!

Today, I woke up early! At like... 12:30! Crazy! I have to take pictures of myself for photo, though, which stinks because I hate taking pictures of myself... Thankfully, my mom is staying home sick today, so she gets to help me!

I'll write what I ate yesterday, because I haven't eaten anything yet today...

Breakfast: I heard breakfast causes cancer.
Lunch: Beeferoni
Dinner: Some pasta in a bag...

Tuesday, February 17

For better or for worse, you are a part of my life. <3

Yes, I am going to write about House for a minute.

Last night's episode, 'Unfaithful' was phenomenal. There were some very good House/Cuddy moments, plenty of Wilson, a cute Cameron/Chase moment, Kutner was [as per usual] awesome, AND the patient was interesting. Who could ask for anything more? The end was somewhat heartbreaking [at least for me], but in very Housian/good way. I won't say anything more than that. Gah, I love House & Cuddy!

Hmm... What else is new?

I like my classes and stuff this semester. I'm doing well in Italian, which makes me happy. It's so much easier than German. And a hell of a lot prettier too. Photography's fun. It's cool learning how all that stuff works and how to do it. I also like Lit, which is strange. I mean, a lot of the stories we read are hella boring, but it's fun to discuss them in class and my prof is pretty cool.

Other than class and such I really haven't been up to much. I went to Tyler State Park today to finish a roll of film. It was nice. Cold, but nice. Saw a lot of cute dogs. =D

I want a job.

Um, I think I would also like a new hairstyle, but I'm not really sure what...

I like this, w/o all the bangs:

Of course it's Lisa Edelstein! Who else could it be?

I need a new hobby or a life... =P

Breakfast: Yogurt
Lunch: What's that?
Dinner: Mac & Cheese and Broccoli

Sunday, January 25

I stole the TV!

I'm going to start off this post with some fangirl squeeing and flailing, so bear with me for a moment...

Lisa Edelstein is too pretty! I can't stand it! Gah! I love her!

/fangirl moment

So, hmm... I started Bucks on Wednesday, and it's not bad so far. Nothing special, really, seeing as we really haven't done anything in any of my classes yet. I do miss French tons and tons and tons though...

Today I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and I must say, it was very very good. Not overrated at all. Brad Pitt was great in it, as was Cate Blanchett.

Speaking of overrated movies, I'm come to the conclusion that I don't like Juno. I came to this conclusion last night, as I watched the pilot of 'United States of Tara', which was written by the same woman (Diablo Cody) who wrote Juno, and which I watched because it looked interesting & I love Toni Collette. It wasn't terrible, but the dialogue, to me, didn't feel natural. Then I remembered... "Wait, didn't Diablo Cody write this or something?"... this is where I had my epiphany, the epiphany being that I did not like Juno. The writing was too contrived for me. It tried too hard to be witty and funny (which it really wasn't... save for Rainn Wilson's brief cameo). The acting was fine, and the plot had potential, but the writing was poo.

Speaking of things that are in no way related to poo, I can't stop listening to Acid Tongue by Jenny Lewis. It's amazing, and everyone should go and listen to it/buy it!

I am so frakking tired, so I bid you adieu!

breakfast: rice cakes and tea
lunch: colonel tasow's
dinner: nachos? fucking movie theater...

EDIT! EDIT! EDIT! EDIT! EDIT!

I LIED. THE SQUEEING WAS NOT DONE!
EEEP! SO CUTE!

Tuesday, January 6

You don't know me, you've just seen my penis.

Okay, I'm gonna blog for real! I keep getting excited about it, but then I get tired or something... Excuses, excuses.

So, my life has still been pretty routine and boring, seeing as school doesn't start for another two weeks, but a few good things have happened lately, so I s'pose I shall talk about them!

Firstly, my cousin Carolyn got engaged on New Year's Eve, which is awesome! Her fiancé is a cool dude, so I'm very happy that they're getting married. Andddd, a few days ago, Carolyn called me and asked me if I wanted to be a bridesmaid. Of course, I said yes! So, my cousin Melissa, my cousin Laura (Laura, Carolyn, and Melissa are all sisters), and Laura & Carolyn's friend, Alexis, are all gonna be bridesmaids. Exciting!

I've been going on the treadmill recently too, and let me tell you, it feels wonderful! I've been wanting to get back into shape for so long, and I'm finally doing it! Go team me!

Mostly, I've just been watching Death Note and The Office and playing lots of Animal Crossing.

Hmm... I swear I was gonna write more in my brain, but I forgot it all!

Oh! I read Carrie Fisher's (Princess Leia's) memoir, and it was great! She's hilarious and awesome and just great! I HIGHLY recommend it! I literally laughed out loud quite a few times while reading it, which doesn't happen with every book I read.

I have a terrible pimple on my chin/lip area. Just in case you wanted to know...

Roy Orbison songs for Rock Band?!? I'M SO THERE!!!

Animal Crossing is awesome. I thought I'd throw that in as well.

Oh, way to make the poll difficult, Dan! It was an extremely tough call, but I chose William Shakespeare.

Okay, I think I'm done.

Oh wait! I bought a car! A 1999 Chevy Malibu. I'm not into American cars, but whatever. It runs smoothly, and is easy to drive, so that's all that matters! And it was cheap! Well, as cheap as a used car could be, ya know?

NOW I think I'm done.

Breakfast: Kashi cereal
Lunch: I ate some salami.
Dinner: Taco jawns, but they were soft and not burritos? I believe Mrs. Gillies gave my mom the idea. THEY WERE DELICIOUS!

SHIT! I ALMOST FORGOT!

Miss Amy Sedaris
She's awesome. Watch it!

Saturday, December 20

Read less, more TV.

I have no idea what I'd do without House marathons on USA or DVDs of The Office.

I'd probably be dead.

The only problem is I almost keep throwing things at my television, because Cameron is extremely unbearable at times in the older episodes of House...

Other than sleeping a lot and doing nothing, I haven't really been doing anything since break started.

For example, I woke up today at 10 AM after having gone to bed at 4 AM. I had a headache and wanted to sleep more, so I took 4 acetaminophen and went back to sleep until 3 PM. Then I watched The Office and played Rock Band. Now I'm watching House. Oh how boring my life is!

Oh wait. I did pick my courses at Bucks on Wednesday. I'm taking Italian 110, Comp 110, Intro to Photography, and some Lit class next semester. Should be interesting.

I really don't have anything to write about, so I think I'm gonna stop here for today. Sorry for the lame post. =[

breakfast: I was sleeeeping.
lunch: cereal
dinner: pizza

Monday, December 1

Why, you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!

I'm in a cheery mood today! Why?
The following things are making Stacey happy today: music (primarily Feist, Jenny Lewis, The Strokes, The Postal Service, & Coldplay), clementines, Star Wars marathons on Spike, my B+ on another French composition, the RAR expander program Ian sent me, and the fact that there are only 11 days left until winter break!

Holy crap! It just started hailing/raining/snowing/thundering!

Anyways, I was quite busy over Thanksgiving break.

Firstly (wait... "firstly" is an actual word?), we had two Thanksgiving because my uncle had knee surgery on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and he wasn't supposed to be able to come to Thanksgiving dinner. So, we were just gonna have turkey on Saturday and vegetable lasagna on Thanksgiving. But on Thanksgiving, he was able to come home early because he was doing so well! Yay!

After Thanksgiving dinner, I went over to my cousin Carolyn's house, where we (my cousins Carolyn, Laura, Melissa, and I) watched Hellboy II and The Happening (I don't care what anyone says, I like this movie!). Then Melissa left, and we all went to sleep.

The next day, I woke up at 6:00 am so that all us gals could drive to Brooklyn and help Melissa move from her old apartment to her new apartment. I had no idea that it only takes about 1.5-2 hours to get to New York City! I thought it took like... 4 hours or something... I don't know! So, we moved stuff and stuff, then we went to this place called Tom's where I had delicious pancakes. After Tom's we drove on back to Hatboro, PA and hung around Carolyn's house and watched a few episodes of The Office. Then we went to my Aunt Barb's house for pizza. We stayed there for a couple of hours, then returned to Carolyn's. I proceeded to watch Star Wars for a little bit, but shortly fell asleep because I was tired from all the moving.

Then Saturday arrived, the day of our grand Thanksgiving feast! After waking up at around 9:00 in the morning, I went over to my Aunt's house and helped my cousin Laura snap the ends off of green beans. I also helped her make her scones. Eventually, my mom and dad came as well as Carolyn and her boyfriend Pete. Then it was time for FOOD!!! We had so much stuff, but I stuck to eating foods in the same color family, which it pretty much what I do every year. I'm not brave enough to eat some of the cheese ball or the brie or the Saskatchewan corn pudding. I'm a wimp. So, I just ate turkey, mashed potatoes, and a few scones. When dinner was finished, we had dessert! I had cheesecake, and wanted to try the pear & cranberry pie my cousin Melissa made, but I forgot. While my Nana ate her pie cutely, we were all watching her, so she became suspicious of us. It took a lot of convincing to get her to realize we didn't do anything to the pie, we just thought she was cute while she ate it. My family and I also made a lot of puns about scones, which was very fun and amusing. Like... "leave no scone unturned", "The Rolling Scones", "sticks and scones may break my bones...", and "a rolling scone gathers no moss". It was gewd tymez. Then everyone got tired.

Pete, Carolyn, Melissa, and Laura (don't mind her, she was in the middle of telling a story)

Eventually, my momma, dad, and I went home, where we slept off our turkey and the other 473892473289 pounds of food we had eaten.

Then yesterday, I went back to Millersville, and here I am! I cannot wait for this semester to be over, man.

Oh! And here are picture of my cousin's 438974329748 dogs. Well, just 5, but still more than I have.

That's Nikolai. He's adorable and kept licking my face while I stayed at my cousin's.

Adrian and Cody

Sonny and Lily (they're Springer Spaniels like my dog Pookie, except a lot bigger than her)

I wuvs those puppies.

Well, I believe that's all I have to say for now. G'day mates!

breakfast: two clementines
lunch: I don't eat lunch..
dinner: I haven't had dinner yet...

GODDAMNIT!
Why are my pictures cut off? That's not fair! This makes me sad, because my pictures are cute...

Also, why does my roommate have to have the fucking TV on 24/7? I want to take a fucking nap without having to hear some stupid Disney show or Ellen (as much as I love her). The TV is also way too loud! Jesus Christ!

THANK YOU FOR FIXING MAH PICTURES DAN!!

Hey Boo Boo

There's a lot of controversy about Amy Winehouse, but watching this video... I don't understand how anyone could NOT be moved by her performance. I miss this Amy. I miss the Amy that wasn't completely drugged out. Sure, she smoked pot and cigarettes and drank, but she always seemed more... present? Her mind didn't seem completely gone. She wasn't completely emaciated (she was, but not as much as she is now). And now, the drugs have all but destroyed her. It's such a damn shame. One of the most talented singers of this generation, and she's probably not going to make it much longer. It's such a tragedy. I (along with many, many other people) am just waiting for her to die. It's sad and morbid, but what else can one do? If she makes it to 26 (yes, she's only 25 years old), it will be a shock. If I believed prayer would do anything, I would pray for her every night. I'll miss her voice in a world of musical mediocrity.

Enough sadness about Amy Winehouse!

I've been on kind of a creative streak lately. I've been doodling/drawing a lot (mostly during class) as well as writing (not a lot, but more than I normally ever do). I think it might have something to do with my Adderall (I have ADD, in case you didn't know =D). It's weird, because I feel almost more creative when I'm taking it than when I'm not taking it or something... I guess it's just that I'm able to sort through all the crap in my brain and get it onto paper, instead of my mind going 1,000 miles a minute. There is a HUGE difference when I take my Adderall versus when I don't. I used to think there wasn't, but college has made me see otherwise. I'm a bit less talkative (but not really, only during class, which it important) when I'm taking my meds, and I'm also less interruptive & rude.

I'm working on a drawing of a skeleton holding a balloon, and I must say that drawing vertebrae is annoying. I can't get them right!

I also did yoga today, which made me very proud. I really need to get back in shape. I like how stretchy yoga is; it's relaxing.

Oh, and I played pool with Megan Reinhold & her roommates for an hour or so. I stink at pool, but it's still fun.

I think I'm going to continue drawing vertebrae? And listening to Amy Winehouse. G'night!

breakfast: Nothing. I slept through it because I didn't have German today. =]
lunch: a bag of popcorn
dinner: half a turkey wrap & a caramel apple latte (They exist, Ian!)

On second thought, I think I shall watch Metropolis, a German silent film from 1927. I got it from the library last week, and haven't watched it yet even though it's now overdue. I wanted to see it because of the anime Metoroporisu, which is based off of it. If you haven't seen Metoroporisu, you NEED TO (it's also called Metropolis in English); it's amazing.

Monday, November 3

On pourrais tuer des bébés phoques aussi!

Did everyone else watch/listen to the prank call to Sarah Palin?

Shit's hilarious.

I'm rather anxious about tomorrow's election... Anxious scared and anxious excited. I'm excited for it to be over, and I'm extremely scared of one of the potential outcomes.

If McCain wins, I have no idea what I'll do. Actually, I do know a few things that will happen... First, I will cry. After crying for about a minute or so, I will break things and scream and cry, but angrily instead of sadly. This will continue for the next four years, every time McCain is the topic of discussion. Also, I will punch any television showing Sarah Palin.

If Obama wins, I also am not entirely sure what I'll do. I know I will yell and shout (out of joy) and dance and probably also break things, but that will be from my dancing, and not from anger. I will run around campus singing "We Are the Champions", but not before singing "We Will [Ba]Rock You", because everyone knows that's how it's done. I think I'll also give everyone I see a smooch.

I hate to be a pessimist about this election, but I mean, look at what happened in the last two elections. You can't really blame me, right? I have faith in Obama, but I'm not sure if I have enough faith in America right now... not enough faith to be sure America will see that Obama should be president.

SO! Enough politics. The past two days have been inundated with French work for me. I had to write a 600 word summary on a book I read for my French 351 class (Marie Curie, she's awesome!). Dr. Moine (French prof) had also decided to give us an entire units worth of exercises, with a day to do them... AND we had an in-class composition to write today, so I had to find something to write about & research it a bit. I chose trick-or-treating, which was fun to write about in French, considering they don't trick-or-treat in France...

In German, we read a story about a vampire that liked red wine [der Rotwein]. It was weird.

OH! On Halloween, I watched Silent Hill and Psycho. Silent Hill was... interesting. I thought it was awesome visually; the monsters, setting, etc. were really cool, but there were a lot of unanswered questions/things that weren't really made clear during the movie... I mean, implying things is okay, but sometimes you don't want to have to speculate on certain things. Psycho was awesome! I was a little confused for the first 20 minutes or so, but I think that was just because Sam and I were joking around for those first 20 minutes. After I started paying attention, IT WAS AWESOME! I really need to see more of Hitchcock's work.

OH! ANOTHER THING! My dad bought the complete set of Little Rascals shorts (not the movie, the shorts from the 1930's-1940's) and we watched some of those. I forgot how hysterical they were. I used to watch them on VHS all the time when I was little, so it brought back good memories.

Well, Anna has made it quite clear that she wants me to finish this entry ASAP, so I believe I will end it here. Toodle-oo, food crew!

breakfast: two chocolate chip muffins (they're small...), scrambled eggs, tater tots, [skim] milk
lunch: n/a
dinner: water, french vanilla beverage jawn, peanut butter twix, take 5

Monday, October 20

I'd just as soon kiss a Wookie.

Hello computers! Not much is going on in my life, but I have many things I would like to write in this blog, so this entry might be long. You'll all get cookies.

I'm a French major, right? Therefore, I decided to join French club when I came to Millersville. However, I didn't really participate in many of the conversation hours or activities last year, so this year I had decided that I would try and go to more conversation hours/activities. At the first meeting, we voted for officers. There were about... 7 people at this meeting? Yeah, 7 people and we needed to vote for 5 officers, and I DID NOT want to be one of them. So, we get down to the last position, public relations officer (a position made up by Dr. Gaudry-Hudson, the club adviser as well as head of the foreign language department and one of two French professors; oh yeah, she's also my adviser). I'm going to refer to her as GH from here on out, 'cause her full name takes too long to type. So, GH asks if anyone is interested in running for PR... There are 3 people left to choose from (not much of a choice, right?): Me, Rachel, and Rebecca. Rebecca wasn't in the club last year, and Rachel is getting married in June, so she has a wedding to plan, as well as being a full time student (she's 30 and awesome), and wasn't in the club last year either. GH was looking at Rachel and me, trying to get one of us to run or whatever, and then goes "Rachel?", asking her if she wants to run. So, Rachel being the sweetheart she is, says "Sure, I'll do it. I was just hoping to become acclimated to the club this semester, since I wasn't in it last year". Well, I thought this would be unfair because Rachel has tons on her plate, so I interrupted and said "I'll do it". That is how I begrudgingly became the PR officer of French club. As a PR officer, you have to put up posters and shit, blah blah blah. So, cut to about 2 months later (now), and GH resigns as adviser, because apparently she doesn't like the job the officers are doing (excluding my roommate, Sarah, who is treasurer). Apparently, she was also frustrated with me because she had asked me to make some stupid bulletin board jawn outside the French office, and it never got done. She said she had sent me all of these emails, and that I had never got back to her. I told her that I had never received any of these emails (which I hadn't; I think she just believes that I was covering my ass, which is stupid), and apologized for the miscommunication, but apparently she's a psychopath and holds grudges against 19 year old students. Sarah (my roommate, and treasurer) is basically GH's best friend and kind of worships the ground GH walks on. Sarah tells me that when she got in a brief tiff with GH over something pertaining to French club last year, she had to kiss GH's ass to make it better. Also, Sarah hadn't even known what she had done wrong to GH, because GH doesn't tell people when something bothers her, she just assumes that you should know. Is it just me, or is this complete bullshit? I kiss no one's ass unless I respect them, and if I'm not given respect, I do not give it back. Right now, GH is not showing me any respect at all; she's acting extremely immature and childish. This is a 40-something year old woman, and she's acting like a fucking baby. Again, I don't care if you're a kid or a professor or a speck of dirt, if you do not show me respect, you do not get any back. Sarah seems to think it's acceptable behavior for GH to act this way or whatever. You know what? No, it's really not. It's something GH should be ashamed of doing. It's actually despicable behavior, and I really don't think she has any right to behave this way. I didn't do anything wrong, and I still apologized for it. She doesn't want to accept my apology or she expects me to do more than apologize or apologize more? Um, GH? Fuck you! Get over yourself! You're a human being, I'm a human being, and we're not perfect! I apologized once, and you don't deserve anything more than that for the way you're acting. In fact, I think that you should apologize for the way YOU'RE acting, because it's horrendous. Someone needs to put her in her place, and if I have to see her face-to-face, and she acts anything less than courteous to me, I will flip out on her. I'm an honest person, and people who are not honest about their feelings make me angry. You have a problem with me lady? Say it to my face, because I'm not going to walk around on eggshells for you, you're not worth it. Is she even empathetic at all? Does she realize that for certain people this may make them extremely miserable? Sarah was extremely depressed and shit when GH was rude to her last year. Me, I'm just fucking pissed, and not even constantly, just when I talk about it. Holy crap, that was a long paragraph...

Another thing that bothers me is some lame-ass sign some girls in a triple put on their door. It says that using words like "imbecile", "retard", "idiot", "dumb", etc. are just as bad/offensive/wrong as using racial/ethnic/religious slurs. I'm sorry, but this is not true at all. I think it's also inconsiderate, because there are several black girls in our hall. So, basically you're telling them that calling a white person stupid is like calling a black person... well, THAT horrible word. I mean, that's just ignorant. Would a retarded person even be offended? They're retarded, it's not like they're entirely aware of the world around them all the time (that sounds horrible, but like... yeahhh), so I doubt they really care. Also, of course a person hates being called stupid, it's an insult! And if they're stupid, who cares about their feelings? That also sounded horrible... but you get what I'm saying? My wonderful friend Sam Toder pointed out something too; we don't even called retarded people retarded, we call non-retarded people retarded, so does the word retarded really even mean a mentally challenged person any more? It's like using the word gay instead of stupid. We don't mean it to offend gay people, it's just another definition of the word, like happy. And seriously, I can understand it being wrong to call a retarded person stupid, because they can't help it, but most stupid people can kind of help being stupid. SLIPPERY SLOPE! I'm terrible at rationalizing things...

I played "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" for the first time yesterday. While it was awesome, I wanted to cry after having to kill Wookies... I love Wookies!

Another thing! Palin was on SNL over the weekend, and I must say that I gained some respect for her because of it. It shows that she has a sense of humor about herself, which is cool. I still will never vote McCain/Palin, but it's made me think of Palin differently. Sigh. I wish I had someone to talk politics with here... My roommate hates politics, so... She's threatened me not to talk about them... or else... O_o

Ahh! I'm so excited for the episode of House airing in 8 days! Hint: it has to do with House & Cuddy. ;]

God, I love television. And you guys. =]

breakfast: nothing, I slept until 10:30 because my alarm didn't go off
lunch: yogurt, a pretzel, and water
dinner: probably nothing because I want to take a nap

Later skaters!

Oh, one more thing...

WHERE'S MY HOUSE THEME?!?!?!?
Hahahaha, but seriously.
I propose a picture of Cuddy being injected in the butt. That would be sweeeeet.

5 MINUTES LATER

OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE HAS MORE TO SAY?

"b) the Cuddy-holding-House’s-hand part and not the scene itself really because that was ok but the moment in which it was shown and the fact that it was ,the way I see it,out of character for Cuddy(at least the real ,season 1 and season 2 Cuddy, the good Cuddy). That holding his hand thing came around the scene on the bus where House said he doesn’t want to be miserable and lonely anymore so I think it’s possible for the Cuddy scene to be a sort of sign of things to come from the writers. See,they fucked Cuddy up in their attempts to show us some sexual/romantic chemistry between them because I think they realized that they have a friendship vibe but not a sexual vibe so they must “poke” our eyes with the sexual chemistry, they have to make it blunt. It’s really not sexual at all because all they do is have House make fun of Cuddy in a sexual way and have Cuddy behave like a semi-hooker around him sometimes.Cuddy now seems to have no other purpose now that to be sexy around House and be the object of his most unflattering jokes. She no longer has any authority over him,she begged him not to cause her to lose her job 2 episodes ago while she is technically HIS BOSS and shows no depth. It’s a shame,I liked the first/second season Cuddy and her friendship with House but now her character makes me sick. Yeah,I’m a House/Cameron fan (it’s my only ship ever and I watch countless shows and usually hate romance on tv shows) and one of the reasons for which I am a fan is because it’s subtle, because their chemistry/sexual tension is natural and needs no words,a look,a slight touch, them being a little closer to eachother is enough to send sparks in all directions. They can make a medical talk about puke be sexy and full of subtext with a look(and the actors/writers used to talk about that a while ago).No matter how hard they might try to turn Cameron into a Wilson 2.0 for House they’ll never succeed because the tension and subtext is always there even when there’s no intention for it.Also, look,Amber was House 2.0 and was great for Wilson so the same might apply to House.Oh and House never made fun of Cameron in the shallow way he makes fun of Cuddy ,with Cameron it was always about deeper things. Now I’m waiting for season 5 which can’t start soon enough.I’m certain House will mend things with Wilson because they need each others friendship .Also I’m certain House will think of changing a bit,of trying to be happy although he probably won’t lose the walls he built around himself in one season .Well,as long as there’s no Huddy,I’mhappy."

That is why I hate House/Cameron fans...
They're stupid. Really really really really stupid.

Sorry this entry was so long. =]

SQUEE

I loved tonight's episode of House, 'nough said. I won't spoil it in case some of you missed it...

Today was spent napping, not speaking French at a French Club meeting, recording a French dialogue (piss off spell check, I spelled "dialogue" correctly), reading David Sedaris when I should have been taking music notes, guessing that the Baroque Era was from 1450 to 1500 (don't know WHAT I was thinking...), using my meal plan to get six bottles of water, playing Kingdom Hearts II, and watching House!!!. Other than these things, I did nothing. I DO have homework, but I don't have class until 11, so I just do it before then.

So, there's this chick that I frequently hear about because my roommate thinks it's a good idea to leave the Disney Channel on constantly. Her name, you ask? Demi Lovato. She's apparently "the next Miley Cyrus" or something... Anyway, they always show this stupid interview with her about her "music", and she goes on to say she's wanted this since she was 5, blah blah blah. THEN she says how she would like to write and direct one day?!? NO! NO! NO! Miss Lovato, stick to being terrible/mediocre/terribly mediocre in ONE (ugh, or two, seeing as she was in that Camp Rock movie...) area[s], please! Please, just continue making boring, predictable music and crappy acting. I don't think I can tolerate shitty directing and writing as well. I mean, seriously. Why do you NEED to do other things? Did you just wake up one morning thinking, "Oh, I'd like to take a whack at directing some day"? No. Playing chess competitively is something you try, not filming an entire movie. No, Demi Lovato, no. You don't spend [potentially] millions of dollars on something you'd "like to try", you turd. Also, when you sit down and play the piano/guitar, I highly doubt the chords just "pop" into your head. Stop trying to make it seem like it's effortless to you. REAL musicians work very hard at what they do, stop making a mockery of it. You think you're so mature? You're 16, you have a lot of life to live yet, girlie. Don't think you're so deep or edgy. Disney owns your soul, therefore you are neither deep nor are you edgy. You were on Barney at the age that most children stop watching Barney. Get over yourself. Instead of trying to convince people that you're who you are, why don't you just be who you are, eh? And another thing... JOE JONAS IS MINE!

Just kidding. I hate the Jonas Brothers too. It baffles me that girls my age like this shit. Even 16 year olds. I don't know about you, but I listened to The Beatles at the age of 16, not some purity ring-wearing boy band (pssh, that was sooo 3rd grade). Listen fellas, there's no rock without at least a little bit of debauchery, and that's the truth. When you start shooting up heroin, and having sex with... well, anyone, really... THEN you're rock 'n' roll. (Kind of kidding, but you see my point, right?).

/rant

I'm gonna sleep? Or read? Or water my flowers in Animal Crossing? WHO KNOWS?!? I'M UNPREDICTABLE, I TELL YOU!

breakfast: water and two peanut butter twix candy bars (not a great way to start the day)
lunch: slept
dinner: pizza, french fries, and a diet coke (bahahahahahahaha, I first typed that as "cock", FYI... I thought it would be funny to mention my potentially embarrassing typo)

GOOD NIGHT!

Reserved

If I may, I would like the privilege of blogging tonight.

I vow to not forget or go to bed.

-----

Look at me! Blogging! I kept my promise, hoes and bros.

I question my roommate's taste in television programs. I love her, but I don't enjoy the Disney Channel, nor do I think Home Improvement is remotely entertaining. The 15 minutes spent watching Friends? Terrible! Phoebe is the only good part about that show, and from what I've seen (which, thankfully, is not much), she's not featured that often. Reba? Okay, I'll admit that I used to watch Reba with my mom on Friday nights, but those days are long past now. We are no longer amused by such television shows.

I'm tired of Hannah Montana! Suite Life of Zach & Cody? No thank you, Sarah. I could be sitting here, in the dark, partially watching some repeat of Family Guy (I'll admit Family Guy isn't much better, but... Home Improvement? Come on!) whilst typing this food blog. Instead, I have to listen to the grunt of Tim Allen. I never understood this show really... Again (like Friends), there was only one person remotely funny, and that was Wilson, creepy voyeur that he was.

You know what's a good sitcom? Arrested Development! Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is an EXCELLENT show. It is something that everyone should watch. If you watch it and do not laugh, I will question your sense of humor.

Other good sitcoms: The Office (US version is just as funny as the UK version!), 30 Rock!!!! (2 words: Tina Fey), Frasier, Seinfeld (I know, everyone likes Frasier and Seinfeld, so one may think they're overrated... THEY'RE NOT!!), The Simpsons (not as good as it used to be, but still holds up), My Name Is Earl (haven't seen a lot of this show, but it's HILARIOUS from what I have seen)... I can't think of anything more... I also think Strangers With Candy is excellent as is The Sarah Silverman Program, but they're on cable, so...

For the first time since May (I was going to say years, but Tina Fey hosted in May, so I HAD to watch it, seeing as I worship the ground she walks on), I watch Saturday Night Live... It was actually pretty funny. Tina Fey made a guest appearance as Sarah Palin, and it was a PERFECT (ALL CAPS!!!!11!!!1!!ONE!!11! CRUISE CONTROL!!!!) impression. Laughter was had by all. Or at least my roommate and I. They also had hilarious commercial parodies, including making fun of that T-Mobile commercial... You know, the one with the "Top 5" friends thinger... Where the boy has his sister's friends in his "Top 5" because they're hot? And the dad says to his daughter, "Maybe you should have less attractive friends"? Anyway, the sketch ended with the father being kicked out of the house. It was quite funny, though it may not seem like it from my description.

As for my day other than television, I spent 99% of the day indoors, hoping for rain. It was disgusting outside. I watched a bit of anime as well, which was a nice treat. Played Neopets (Don't hate me! I was bored!)... Did I do anything productive? Pssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... No. No I did not. I did buy some duct tape! There! That's something productive!

I think this was my most successful post yet! Or not! You be the judge!

I think I'm going to go water my flowers in Animal Crossing. Until next time!

breakfast: slept through...
lunch: didn't really eat "lunch" per se
dinner: pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a hot dog (Ich bin dick. For those non-German speakers, look it up!)

OH!

I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO LOVE TINA FEY MORE THAN I DO BUT I DO NOW BECAUSE SHE WORE A "VOTE LEIA IN '08" TEE SHIRT ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE I NEARLY DIED WHEN I SAW IT NOW I MUST BUY IT OFF OF THE INTERNETS OH MY GOD I WENT UP TO THE TV AND STARTED STROKING IT SORRY FOR THE LACK OF PUNCTUATION AND ALL CAPS BUT I'M ATTEMPTING TO CONVEY HOW EXCITED I WAS!!!!!

good to be back

Oh how I have missed writing about food that I've eaten!

Back at college. It kinda sucks, but I guess it's nice to see certain people. Me and my roomie/friend Sarah are getting along well. I still haven't put anything up on my walls yet. Well, that's not true. I put up my free Haruhi Suzumiya poster and my Audrey Hepburn calendar, but that's it so far. Hopefully, I'll get a few sweet posters today at the poster sale they're having in the SMC.

I have also discovered the joys of reading Cosmo. Don't get me wrong, it's a terrible magazine, but it's horribly amusing. GAH! I just hit my funny bone on my belt!

I have to go to class, so I'll finish this later.

---

I bought a Star Wars (The Empire Strikes Back, which is my favorite) poster. =] My life is complete.

I feel like I should be doing work or something, but seeing as I have no work to do...

I just bought a sub, but I can't eat it! I'm not hungry enough or something...

I'm gonna go try and eat this sub... Sorry for the kinda lame blog, I've been out of practice.

breakfast: pancakes
dinner: turkey sub

---

I wish Amy Winehouse didn't do crack. =[

Listen to 'In My Bed' by her, find out why.

Wednesday, July 23

My turn!

So, work is still alright. Some (most, actually) of my Goldfish continue to act retardedly, but that's to be expected.

OH! RIGHT!

My one camper (she's 12, mind you) got suspended for two days after she bit a counselor. For serious.

Who even does that? Shit's crazy! She bit Liz (no one knows who this is, but that's okay) on a dare that she dared herself to do? It's not like it broke skin, but it's pretty much not acceptable at all.

I have also discovered a game called Bubble Bobble due to the game room at NDC. It's fantastic. Google that shit.

Wii Fit is fun too.

I miss old episodes of Pokémon.

I'm sorry for the crappy blog, once I'm not exhausted by children I'll improve, I SWEAR!

BED TIME!

breakfast: blueberries and cheerios
lunch: a cheeseburger, I think...
dinner: some chicken & rice as well as a German bologna sandwich

Anyone else here ever try German bologna? It's much better than that crap Oscar Mayer puts out.

Twelve Year Old Sluts

... are gross.

*later*

So, I got stuck with twelve year old girls for campers this year. Let me tell you, although you give a lot less piggy back rides, it is no walk in the park. I look at these girls and think, "Was I that annoying and retarded when I was 12?". Seriously, these girls flirt with anything that has a penis. It's disgusting. I played Pokémon and read books. These girls listen to rap and text on their cell phones all the time. It's so weird.

Okay, not all of them are like that... In fact, most of them are fine, but one rotten apple spoils the whole bunch. Also, when I stay at late, I get to hang out with my favorite person ever, Caitlyn. Yes, she is 6 years old, but she's probably the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I get to hang out with awesome seven year olds too. You wish you knew them.

Oh! And one of my campers (a twelve year old girl, just so there's no confusion) has six pack abs. No lie. Apparently, she does sit ups.

Oh! And we had three counselors, but one of them quit on... Uh... Monday or Tuesday, I think? Also, another counselor got fired because she was using her cell phone. They warned us, so I really have no sympathy for her. Plus, she wasn't that great of a counselor anyway... I was with her group for a day, and she didn't do anything...

Oh well!

I'm tired, here's what I ate today!

breakfast: Life cereal
lunch: pasta! I love pasta day!
dinner: chicken wrap
