Thats what I am eating as I write. I discovered greek Yogurt and i love it and I even like it plain with Honey
It's Sunday Morning and I am awake once again, by myself. I don't mind at first. I greet the cat in the hallway who is always Glad to see me get out of bed and meows at me(He's a very vocal feline)
Then it's off to get the dogs out of Nicks room. Also very happy to see me.
Then to make the coffee and while thats brewing, go online to check the email and facebook.
(I lied. I did NOT make the coffee this AM. I drank what was left of the old pot we made last night. I hate to waste starbucks so I heated it in the microwave.)
Sometimes I find others who are also awake and I can chat but not today. I mean I was up at 7 not 4, someone should be on.
So then after that I drink the coffee and I surf. I think I started today with Vintage Halloween accessories and did that for a while. somehow I ended on an Anna Pacquin fan site. Always liked her. Loved her the Piano and the Squid and the Whale.
It's always an interesting journey when I surf. I never know where I will end up. Who would have thought. I wasn't even thinking abot Anna Pacquin at all this morning but there I was on her fan site.
it also makes you wonder about 'fans" who take the time to st up these fan sites of their own. Its llike watching someone' s obsession.
Then I let the pugs out back and notice that Nick was right, the grapevines have indeed covered the gate pretty much completely and so I found my clippers and made an opening again. It always reminds me of the Secret Garden, when Mary is looking for the door to the Secret Garden through the ivy. Amazing how quickly I can leave my mind and go someplace else.
Harvested some Carrots for my weed infested garden and wondered why I try to do this every year
I see the bathroom cleaning supplies that I left on the counter from the bathroom cleaning marathon I had yesterday and I decide I should also clean the downstairs bathroom.
I also was looking for Anna Mathews via face-book. She is gone from my face-book! I even searched on other peoples face-books that have her as their friend as well and I do not see her anyway so anyone that knows the location of Miss Mathews,I wanted to say hello. Did she drop out?
I'll do last nights dinner.
Ruby tuesday. gift card form our exterminator(We referred so many customers to him that he gave us this gift card. I had the Louisiana seafood . This platter consists of Cajun style tilapia, some itsy bitsy shrimps and I got brown rices and Smashed Cauliflower. It was delish but you can see the portion sizes have shrunk which I guess is okay since Americans eat to large of portions anyway. The off to Borders which used to be my favorite place but the last few times I was there is it always deserted, the music they place is depressing and on this night, there were some horrible screaming kids running around like wild banchees. Like there were at a playground.
I am always amazed by these types of parents who sit there and go about their business as if nothing is going on. The kids are just acting like kids, kids with no guidance. the store was also being rearranged. i may not go there anymore. I may go to Barnes & Nobles next time, which definitely has a different, more snotty vibe, but at least there are other people there.
I bought nothing since I bought two books on Amazon which I am waiting for by mail. Until then, I am once again re reading Special topics in Calamity physics. I still love it.
Just finished Water for Elephants and the Memory Keepers Daughter.
it's 9:37, I am still alone, I'm already bored.

CPR for the Blog
what is wrong with you people! How you allow such an amazing blog die without trying to perk it back up?
I don't think the Blogg is dying I think you're all exhausted from school and it's hard to be creative when your tired and bogged down.
Me, Ive been fanning the flames on another site, as you all probably well know. Investing my time elsewhere but I have that all under contral and set up now and I will invest more time here. I hope you will too.
So, I assume you have seen or heard or read that my birdie girl was sick. Not only did we have the cat at the vet last saturday getting ready for his little man surgery to keep the lady cats in our neighborhood safe, not to mention Bill's arm safe from harm.(The cat really likes to hump his arm! gross)
So that was interesting in itself. How he was going to handle it all and he handled it very well considering while we were sitting in the waiting room, any animals worst nightmare, a GIANT blood hound came out into the waiting room. His feet were the size of, they were huge anyway,(I can't think of anything to compare it to. Colin sat under his blanket and it was so funny because he truly believed he was invisible) I guess he never heard about bloodhounds.
Then in comes a HUGE Rottwiler. He was far away. the blood hound was friendly. Two long haired Dachounds getting their nails clipped.
Their owners all loved talking about their babies and why they were there and how old they were, dogs they've had in the past. us included. We told the tale of the famous Angus that these people would never know the pleasure of meeting such a creature.
People love their dogs! Of course, we told the story of bag of bones Collin and listened to the ohs and aws of people feeling sorry for him and of course thinking we were sooooo nice to take him in.
Collin is older than we thought, about 9 months, he has all his adult teeth the vet told us but since he had starved most of his kittenhood, he was smaller than the average cat. Otherwise Collin is healthy and getting neutered on the 20th.
Mary Claire, well she was a sick. Never had a sick bird before but when I woke her up and found her on the bottom of the cage sitting instead of on her perch, I knew she was sick. Thats a very bad sign for a bird, close to departing I read, when they do this.
Couldn't let the pope come home to a dead bird so we found the avian vet and off they went to find the disease, the bacteria, the deadly fever that was making her ill
NO, not at all, it was a string. It's amazing what a string can do when it wraps itself so tight around your leg that it diggs into your skin and causes an infection. I guess she was knitting? Where this came form we will never know but she will be fine and shall live on to the ripe age of 20 we hope.
whew! Expensive pet week. But at least we had no bad news. We are lucky and blessed. Animals bring so much joy to my life. Just ask Mickey Rourke, he understands. Your pets won't desert you when your down. No matter what you look like.
Did I write that? I guess I did.
Off to work my bloggers, think of some cool things to write.

I am so boring
I'm sorry I have nothing to say that is very interesting.
I watched the Westminster dog show last night with my dog.
We thought the pug should have won.
Stumpy won. he was cute too.
I couldn't help but notice that most of the dog trainers there were morbidly obese. I'm not talking some love-handles, I'm talking, how were they able to run the dog and not get hurt, kind of fatness. So what;s up with that pattern? I can't help but think of that movie :"Best in Show' with Parker Posey which de-picks these dog people as anal, neurotics. I wonder if it's true. Behind the scenes. That movie had nothing about overly heavy dog trainers though.
Also, Cable has been blessing me with LOTS of recurring Woddy Allen films which I LOVE. I get some of my best lines from these films, including my faux tomb stone saying.(Im not having a grave so no need for a real stone)
So Manhattan was on last night. with Diane Keaten. Stardust Memories was on the other night with some French Actress, whose name escapes me but she reminded me of Mer. Yes our Mer. so check it out Mer. Not completely but resemblance.
Tonight we had spagetti and Texas toast. It was dull and lifeless but that was what was for dinner, sorry.
At work I can barely keep my eyes from closing and laying my head down on the desk. Why am I this tired? I have no idea.
Then today, on my way down the hall to the ladies room, I found my self wishing that I had my own copier at my desk instead of having to use the community copier.
Are these the thoughts of a normal person? What has my life come to that I'm having this thought and on my break no less! thats my free time, where I should be thinking of lunch or dolls or things concerning me. My own copier?
So thats what would add to my bliss at work? thats all it takes? I'm past bagel Friday.
How glad I was to see Becker was on at 6 am this morning again AND it was the pilot episode! They stopped showing this right before Christmas and now it's back! YAY!
My nights have been boring too. Not a creative thought runs through the ole head. Maybe Ive been possessed.
This afternoon on my lunch break, after I dined on liverwurst and swiss with mayo and onion on wheat,
I windexed the window over the sink in the kitchen.
I was thrilled with the shine after dark. thought about possibly doing more windows in the house but then that might lead to soaking curtains and we can't have that.
I DID soak the pillow cases though!
After that I mixed some coa coa powder in what was left of the cool whip free and finished that off.
Is this really what you want to hear or wouldn't you rather I just didn't blog until I can think of something respectable to write about like the wine tasting dinner I'm attending this Friday.
Tonight, as we ate our pathetic boxed spagetti dinner and redners sauce, we watched some interview show, with Uma Thurman on discussing her latest film called Mother, which is about one Mothers day. It looked interesting.
Uma is interesting in her own rite being that she was raised budest and had tibetan monks showing up at her house at all hours of the day and night, sleeping at her house , giving up her bed for them when need be. THAT is interesting. Her name means something or another, something else interesting. I'm all about Uma. I also love Martha Plimpton but that has nothing whatsoever to do with Uma except that they were in Beatutifull girls together.
Now, how Ethan Hawke could cheat on her with, excuse me, but how passé, the NANNY? The NANNY for Christ's sake. thats like screwing your secretary! So boring! You've got this goddess whose also highly intelligent and spiritual and has talent coming out her hair follicles and you have to cheat with our kids babysitter? oh wait that was someone else. HE cheated with the Costume Designer on a film he was making in Canada. Whatever. so white trashy looking that one is anyway. she was TOO good for him. I can't say that the costume designer is as bad as the nanny.
How about that Rhianna getting beaten by her whatever you call him.
(This is a repeat of a conversation I overheard at work. Like I give a holy crap about this woman.)
So folks, until next time, this is Maryclaire, the happy camper signing off and wishing you happy trails........
Please leave some interesting comments to help this post out a little...

Posting
Sorry dudes and dudettes,
I believe the snow on this web-page kept me from being able to blog. I literally couldn't get on and I was way to lazy to write Dan about the issue but I am having no trouble now that the snow is gone I see.
I did like-the drawing's though. I even tried at work but I'm so self conscious of getting caught or worse yet ,the IT department somehow getting hold of my blogs, that I just cancel them.
So, I have been eating and cooking a lot. Winter seems to be the time when I seek out new recipes and boy did I find a lot of new ones.
I also have been working on my doll EMMA. She is almost complete. and now that I have a camera, I can show them t you all as they are completed so this should be fun for you(HAHA)
Last weekend, I finally decided to take out those Cows calendars and cut out the pics of the cows that I like and make something out of them(which is the reason I saved them for the last few years) so I wiped off the dust and I cut away. I made pins out of the small ones ands I made a large recipe box out of an old stationary box and pasted some cows on that. Its really cool looking and big enough to hold all of the new recipes that I have printed off line, thus saving me re writing them on cards.
Last week I made rustic potato chowda! it was good! this one called for 8 slices of bacon! YUMMY I had a rosemary olive oil bread to go with(storebought)
I've also made Swedish meatballs and dijon saucy fish and others I can't remember them all right now.
I also found this FABU web page called 101 cookbooks. its run by a young lady called Heidi and she is linked to many of other cool cooking sites I think-you guys might like her. She's no old fogie like Julia Child's or anything. She's pretty hip and mod.(yo yo.)
I saw her Madeleines recipe and I thought, I want to make homemade madeleines and take business away from starbucks! So I then realized that in order to make these fancy fancy little babies you must indeed possess an official madeilines pan.
So off to Amazon I went. I now have the pan and now all I need is the ingredients and Im all over it.
Then, I was surfing and I saw on ebay a corn on the cob pan for corn bread! I just had to have that as I make corn bread alot. (I think its from that past life as an american indian that I had) just love the corn texture.
I went to ebay for this one but I got distracted by work and I must say I forgot to go back and order it.
I DID wake up early this am and I caught the end of some commercial for a dance excersize video. so off to Amazon I went and within moments, it was mine.
I just LOVE getting things n the mail! I never buy expensive things, I just get little stuff like books(used) and pans. and spanish tapes, and excersize dancing with the stars tapes.
So thats all thats been going on with me. January is my hibernation time of year. I love hunkering down with books and tea and doll making and movies. I only leave the house when I must. I LOVE this time of year for this very reason. Come spring and Ill be a busy bee again and I wont be able to hibernate again until mid summer when its too hot to go out again. Summer us just as bad as winter for me. In fact Summer has always been more depressing.
I had coffee and shredded wheat this am. I have no idea whats coming for dinner. Ide like a nice slice of amatos pizza but, that aint going to happen. I wish we could find a comparable place. V& S has great pizza but everyone and their uncle already knows about this place so the lines are horrific.
so ta ta for now.
See you soon
apologies for the wait(Don't forgive me)

HAPPY NEW YEAR BLOGGERS!
Happy New Year to you all. I'm sorry I started the New year out by missing my day but, sorry means nothing when you do the same thing again anyway. Don't accept my apology.
I'm happy to say that I had a great 2008. I work in a great place and that trickles down into everything else in my life. I have been off of work since Dec 23rd and it's been like a vacation I've been sleeping until 10 some days, like today.
I have no resolutions that I care to make public(that way if I fail,no one knows but moi!)
My only resolution would be to live life to it's fullest and enjoy everything that I can an you all should too.
So today I woke up at 6 and sometimes I swear to GOD about this, I wake to the phantom smells of coffee and breakfast cooking when it really isn't in my house.
I do wonder if sometimes I catch the whiffs of smells wafting from the diner. We are so close after all and those vents come out the top of the building over there. Diners are so warm and cozy in the AM with hot coffee and al sorts of breakfasts.
So this morning I smelled fried eggs and coffee. I went back to sleep and woke at ten to real coffee in my house and then we made eggs with rye toast.
It's only 2 p.m. and I have done nothing really other than surf the web and drink tea. I took a picture of my pugs wrapped as babushkas in their bed at my feet with my new camera. The internet is going to be in trouble. I can also make films with this camera.
We also received one f those old time looking record players/CD players/cassete players/radios! it's just awesome because now those spanish tapes that I bought on EBAY will acutally get used!(I didn't think about that part when I bought the tapes. No wonder they were so cheap!
New Years eve, I went a little nutty on Amazon and bought sound track music to two movies. One is "A Secret Garden" and then when I found out the composer was the same composer for the foreign film "3 Shades of Blue' I bought that too! Then I bought the actual movie. It was a great shopping night and I recycled by purchasing all used products.
The heater is being repaired so my feet are like ice cubes right now. I may have to go to Barnes and Noble and use my gift card in times like these.
That, or I have had the notion of checking out that used book store.
I made white chicken chili the other night and I think that is what we will have for dinner this evening as well. It was really yummy.
We are planning at trip to IKEA this evening as well. There are many things to look at there. I did a precheck online today to get a better idea about what I might want to get there. i was thinking of closet organizing things but then I saw a print of Amsterdam and I got the Amsterdam itch again. Which then led me to the Amsterdam song by Per Bjorn and John.
This is the mind of someone with ADD. One things just leads to the next or maybe thats normal.
so Happy New Year! have a great year all. Keep on blogging!

I'm back and I now have super powers
Hello Blogger team. I had no idea I was gone this long but i'm back now.
it was a gorgeous night, moon was high over head the sky was so clear that you could see every constellation in the heavens
I was walking the pugs up at the school when I saw this light in the sky, right near the old Don Pablos restaurant .
next thing i know, I am home in the living room, and I have very greasy hair, I stink to high heavens and everyone is really pissed off at me, including the dogs. And now Im sure you all are my bloging friends.
They all want to know where I have been and what i have been doing and I have no idea what they are talking about. I walked the dogs, what the hell do they mean? Ian didn't even notice I was gone.
I have no recollection how I got home or when. They say I've been gone for days! The dogs were found roaming around up near Terrace Road that same night.
Me? I have no idea where I have been or what I've been doing all these days. I just know that I am very dirty and hungry and I am suddenly very aware of much medical terminology. I even seem to think that I can perform surgeries for some odd reason.
so, naturally i had a Bagel and cream cheese because it was bagel Friday at work.
So I went into the 10 am meeting and I sat down for the conference call to the pharmaceutical company and I described the side effects for the latest drugs on the market and began reciting the clinical trials and effects on the rats and monkeys when I noticed that everyone ese in teh room was looking at me as if I had two head. well , maybe three.
I just looked back and said 'What/?' what's wrong?
Next thing you know, Im being physically removed form the office and tied to a stretcher! By men in white coats!
And that my friends is all I remember. You KNOW I would NEVER leave the blog hanging in this manner for days at a time, especially after the many public floggings I have encouraged..
I'm having broth right now as I type from my secured and padded room. They have allowed me supervised time with a computer so that I could full-fill my blog duties.
i feel this strange vibrating in my head though from the implant that I think the aliens put in. this way they can find me more easily they said.
I can also hear them chatting up above.
"What!" what are you looking at me like that for?" I want a lawyer! I need some wheat grass!
it was a gorgeous night, moon was high over head the sky was so clear that you could see every constellation in the heavens

Happy Thanksgiving.
Good morning, the day after Turkey Day.
So far I have eaten a Hershey's kiss and a chocolate chip cookie. When I went to bed there was half a tray-full of them and this morning, there were two. Now there is one.
I think I better grab it.
I am having, as we speak, my Star-bucks Coffee. I feel I must mention that the cat just really really really badly stunk up the room I am typing in so I opened the window and he jumped on the sill. we can hear geese flying overhead. The day sounds quiet.
I just heard a crow cawing. today would be a great day for Tyler State park walking but my damn foot is injured. I have plantar Faciitis. Its fixable but I has benched me for a week or two.
Yesterday I made the best turkey dinner I have ever made if I do say so myself The turkey I cannot take credit for, It must have had a good life, stayed away from the alcohol and drugs, ate properly. All I did was rub olive oil on it and some spices and unceremoniously, shoved stove top up his rump. Threw in a couple of onions and carrots and a few apples this time and stuck that dutch oven in.
We had the usual mashed potatoes, candied yams with pecans, biscuits, sparkling cider and wine. Made this FABU unusual green been casserole which ended up being the star of the table. It was delectable. It was made with blue cheese and Heavy Cream. Sounds gross but OMG it was good
After words the men cleaned up the table and my Mom and I went in to sleep in front of the football game with cigars.
Okay, my Mom and I went to the computer to shop for something on ebay she wanted. A case for her old silverware that she couldn't find anywhere else.
Then we made some coffee and I even used my cow creamer, the one where the milk comes out of the cows mouth.(I save it for holidays these days. When I first got it, I used it all the time)
and then we settled in front of The Darjeeling Limited".(Who wants scrambled eggs, raise your hands?"
We then went up to our families house for desert which consisted of the cookies I mentioned earlier in the post, two homemade pumpkin pies by Aunt Mary(A real baking wiz, let me tell you) I mean that.
some eclairs and , coffee again. We chatted a bit and ate and cleaned off the table and went home where I then tried to read in bed but found myself waking up, John Adams on my chest(my book) , glasses on my face with a pug asleep next to me. I called it a night.
That was it. Now family crisis', arguments, all was well in the world.
Now, the Halloween Decor can come down and we can get ready for the next holiday.
Hope all your holidays were great as well

Tuesday
it's a miracle were going in order once again luvs.
Nothing much new here. One of my dolls is on EBAY. no bidders yet. I have 2 more days to go. look for Gaston the Pirate in Dolls/bears category.
Ive been working on Dolls and an illustration of a christmas card I started when I worked at Davis Acura that I never completed. Im going to complete it this year and i will send it out, I swear.
I'm having a burst of creative juice lately, since the doll making began. I have bought two organizer drawer things on wheels even to store the collection of supplies. I've made the kitchen area my studio because I've always hated our real studio. Its depressing to me so I've taken over the kitchen and I don't really care what you all think. We don't eat dinner there anyway.
Im going yo spend the rest of my life being unconventional, as I really was born to be. I only ACTED conventional because we moved to Levittown and your children could be ostracized for having odd parents although tell people your an artist and they almost expect you to be crazy. Its a fine line, a slippery slope(I always wanted to say that) Danny knows how weird we really are. Right Dan, Remember Chain-saw night?
Kitten is getting larger and more harassing. I guess he's healthy and normal now. He attacked me while I was trying to read last night.
Im reading "John Adams" and its a great great book. Picked it up at Borders. The sleeping man wasn't in his chair. I was Saturday night. Lets hope he had date.
Im eating the usual. Apples are in season so I have been buying bags of them juicy buggers. I also switched cereals and have been eating shredded wheat and bran with skim milk. Although I did have cream of wheat today.
Lunch today was two slices of thin crust pizza from a pizza place in a strip mall in Newtown. Brought my man with me. Then , this is difficult, I um, well, I ugh,
We then drove to Dunkin Donuts!!! Even though Starbucks was right down the street! But Ian was at school so.......
anyway, it was nice to have regular average coffee because that thanksgiving blend is WAY WAy too strong for me. I cant even drink it.
went back to work, drank the coffee, ate the french cruller(its like eating sugared air) it fools you into thinking its less calories.
came home, had some bacon and eggs while we watched Field of Dreams. I know this is a ridiculous movie but I like it
anyway."if you build it he will come"
We have gotten a few newcomers at work and they are wonderful! fun! people. I am loving work even more. They also speak in languages, british accents, etc. its great, we all just talk that way without even thinking and no one acts like were weird! Do you know how Rare that is? to be surrounded with people such as yourself! its a gift from GOD above.
it's a full moon tonight so I am going to take a walk in it with Nick(he doesn't know it yet.)
OOOHOO And someone sent me a Live Puppy cam!!! its the best thing since chopped liver!! google it. its the shiba inu puppy cam. We all watch it at work and email each other about what the puppies are doing that day. I just looked in on them. they are sleeping.
The one with the blue collar Im told is very rammy.
Also had a cupa tea, decaf, so i had to use two tea bags because otherwise theres' no flavor.
thats all she wrote, literally. sorry so boring.

Happy Halloweenee
well , I've done it again.
I've won my work party Halloween costume contest.
I REALLY TRULY didn't mean to. I swear to you all that I truly just enjoy the whole creating the costume thing but then the damn Phillies had to win the world series on a day that wasn't planned and then of course most of the people from my place took the day off and got on that train bound for the city full of screaming , red clad fans.
This means one thing for a costumer like me, lack of competition in the contest. I won a nice little gift basket. but I don't want to win again next year, people will hate me. I'm dressing in a store bought costume next year.
We began our day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel. I woke up and thought of it. I had eggs, bacon , biscuits and some grits that I didn't order and I didn't eat.
All I can say is that the Coffee, or whatever it was in that cup, was GOD awful, and that is pretty damn important to me in the early morning. I had to come home and make a pot of coffee for real.
After that we went to that Wall-mart by Neshaminy Mall and we got makeup for our costumes and other do dads.
So, last night , I get my costume out once again. I was "The blue Witch of Falls past". Just something I made up but people must have liked it because a bunch of children aged 8 or so, vote me the most original prize at the party we attended last night. I painted leaves 3 shades of blue and sewed them all over my spider-web clad costume, hat was pretty elaborate, I don't do costumes half assed. My broom looked real.
This party was very cool and was at a huge house in Doylestown with 10 acres of wooded property.
These people spared no expense to decorate their humble abode and provide awesome Halloween inspired food.
Stromboli made into the shape of giant gila lizard, a red pepper for his tongue. They had a giant cauldron with smoke coming out of it so the house was all smokey and spooky. There was pizza from a place called Jules which was pretty good, cheese and crackers, chocolate covered spiders(cookies) cat cookies, Nutter Butters dipped in whit icing and made to look like ghosts. Very cute. Blue Berries, my favorite. Keg of beer and assorted wines and martinis. Blue Martini's that looked really cool in peoples hands in the martini glasses. If I liked them I would have had one JUST to match my outfit!
There were kids everywhere dressed as all sorts of things. The one Boy named Ian, was a wolf-man. He also won a prize.
On the patio, which is about the size of 2 built in pools, was a wonderful bonfire. It was really burning well. There were all sort of characters out there, adult characters, one man had a huge mohawk and looked as if he was tattooed all over. His wife was Amy Winehouse. She looked great.
Indiana Jones was there and he brought his wife,Mary who was a deviled egg(funny, that was what I made to bring to the party, 60 deviled eggs.
A play on words costume. There were a few of those at my job. Leave it to the medical writers. One guy was bad grammar and another, a cereal killer(he wore a box of cereal around his neck with a knife through it.)
So there was a hay-ride through the woods which I Thoroughly enjoyed. I went on my hay-ride with the other witches(there were 4 of us) it looked so cool , our hats bouncing with the tractor, wine glasses in our hands, looking up at the silhouettes of the branches of the trees under the lack or moonlight but none the less, the flashlights against the trees left us able to see enough of them. I was hoping for some deer but the tractor noise takes care of that.
I spent the rest of the night around one of the bonfires looking at the stars with one of my fellow witches.
I had about 1 glass of wine. Remember I said this.
I got wine twice throughout the part but my glass was never full so the equivalent of 1 glass of wine is a good guess as to how much alcohol I did ingest last night. I mean who is keeping track anyway?
At about midnight, the witching hour, I talked Uncle Fester into going home. I was going to drive since he had more beer than I had wine and it was late and we were tired and we have this Kitten who wakes us up at the crack of dawn to attack our feet, so we are always sleep deprived these days. He was not smashed by any means.
So, I'm driving down the long dark, lonely road down to Newtown, keeping my eyes and highbeams peeled for deer crossing.
I got down to Newtown and decided I was going to drive through the town of Langhorne instead of the back way since I was so tired and having trouble staying awake(remember I got to bed at 10 normally). I figured it would look cool in the fall night time.
So, up ahead, after Attleborough nursing home,im looking forward to seeing cute little Langhorne and instead I see all these flashing lights. Uncle fester is asleep next to me in the seat snoring and before I could say "Uncle", or anything, like nudge him to wake him, I am in line in a State Trooper sobriety checkpoint and I am being flagged to stop and be questioned!!!
HOLY SHIT!!!
How much wine did I have this evening? Does anyone remember? I mean who is keeping track anyway!!
There were at least 6 cars, neon cones blocking the road, my husband smelling of booze next to me, even though he had only had some beer, and not even that much. Me with Blue makeup smeared all over my face, severe hat hair from wearing a witch hat, traipsing through the wood, costume disheveled from getting repeatedly caught on doorknobs, chairs, anything.
I was asked if I drank that night.(What could I do lie? I didn't have time to prepare for this kind of questioning) I said yes and told him how much as he shone the flashlight on me, my inspection stickers, down into the back of my vehicle, etc.
He asked where I was coming from,(Doyestown) where I was going,(Levittown) what section in Levittown I was going to etc(Twin Oaks). I had all the right answers thank God, because he sent us on our way! I must have looked sober(which thank GOD I was)
Thank the good lord, my last drink at the party was water, and although I do drink wine, I never drink alot of it at one time, even at a party!
As I drove away, I finally glanced over at Uncle Fester who was soberly awake at this point, wondering what the hell happened and how we ended up in this pickle. I drove us right into it!
One more glass of wine in me and I pictured us calling Ian, to come bail us out, DUI's on our records for life.
Let this be a lesson to you all my young friends. Didn't see it coming, I couldn't have avoided it if I tried!
So, that was my Halloween this year. It was great and all worked out well.
Boo and I hope that all of you had a great Halloween as well
I've won my work party Halloween costume contest.

Welcome Home, Children
Welcome Home, Children
by David Shumate
In the early spring I get together with all the people I've been
in my past lives.
We sit around the table at my grandfather's
farmhouse—mashed potatoes, creamed peas, cornbread.
There's
the Confederate colonel with his mustache and battlefield odor.
The medieval peasant from Portugal with insects in her hair.
The
Irish boy who died from the fever at nine.
There's the patient wife
of the fishmonger.
The petty thief from Cathay who's already
stuffed his pockets with my grandmother's paperweights.
My
favorite is the Hindu monk. His orange robes. The sacred paint
across his forehead. He's never reconciled his lust for women and
steals glances at the dancer from Babylon—my first life. Her long
dark hair. The thin veils draped over her shoulders. She loves
to lean across the table for the marmalade, exposing her breasts
for him to see. After dinner she excuses herself and walks into
the garden. He follows. I'm not sure if it's just a natural kind of
thing… One incarnation of mine seducing another…Or an act
so vile even Narcissus would have gagged.

Ahhhhh, to be without a body
I know this sounds odd but wouldn't it be so nice to be without it? How wonderful to just float along as whatever we are spiritually? Or whatever?
Our entire existence revolves around our bodies and the bodies of others.
for example, Ill tell you about my day so far and what an inconvenience my body has been to me.
Wake up, a kitten is biting and scratching my feet. If I had no body, that wouldn't be an issue at all., then of course my body has woken me up one already during the night because it had to pee because last night it demanded I drink water before bed(Im thirsty! Wah) I walked last night and my leg was hurting and my heel too. Body once again.
So then Im tired because of it form last night and getting up at 6 all the time.
so , I have my coffee(now thats a good thing that my body likes, I don't mind this so much at all.
I decide to go to kohl's to return shoes that, you got it, didn't fit my feet so well and of course my body had to get rid of the coffee now and makes me drop everything Im doing to find a bathroom! AND it was demanding I give something to the stomach. Im already distracted from what my brain wants to do which is shop some more and get things to finish my Halloween Costume and the pirate dolls Im working on. Now my feet hurt too. I needed those shoes.
I have to work everyday to keep a house to protect my stupid body from the cold and the heat and the rain and burglars. My body requires a bed and soft things to sit on and I have to keep food cold because my stupid body doesn't like food that goes "bad". It's very particular. it will just toss it right out of my mouth! How rude.
then sometimes it gets sick and I have to pay money for it to get well at a DR.
I hav eto have this vehicle which costs me lots of money every month to cart my ass around.
We as humans are completely un equipped for life on earth which is why I don't think we originated here at all.
You guys get the idea. It would be better off to not have one and I have this thought so often and people think I m nuts.
So I fed this stupid body an egg and cheese sandwich and some more coffee. it liked that. But it will demand more later when Im in the middle of something fun, or it will make my eyes close because it's tired I"M not tired, it is.
By the way, I took it to AC MOORE and you should see what my body did t the bead display!!! OMG,
I have no idea what for dinner, someone elses body is making it. I hope my body likes it.
By the way, we have had the kitten a few weeks now. We named him Collin Craven and we call him Master Collin. this is a character from a favorite book of course, The Secret Garden.
He is doing very well and is getting used to us and the house.
well IM off dears. I have to get as much as I can outa my body before it starts to be a nudge. Then it will bug me for more things. Sometimes it sees things on EBAY and just orders them! Or QVC! or in stores, just out of the blue, it wants something for it'self, clothes, purses, pets! could go on all day.......

FOOD EMERGENCY 911
For those of you who have not awoken to the devastation,
Amatos has exploded.
No joking. I woke to two helicopters hovering over my street at 6 am and I went outside to see what the hell they could be hovering for.
too early for shoplifters running from the mall or target.
Accidents on Route one usually draw them near like this but they were hovering in my hood for Christ's sake.
the township has also been spraying poisons and toxins from the air lately to kill everyone 50 years down the road(oh, Im sorry I meant to say to kill the mosquitos) but that is being done in low flying small aircraft at night so it wasn't that.
so on went the morning news and low and behold the entire strip mall has exploded and caught fire in the middle of the night.
so at least no one was injured. Thats the great part.
My favorite craft store was destroyed. Bummer. It's Halloween time. I know these places are all insured and they will most likely rebuild.
but the worst part............. it's pizza night! What are we going to do now.
It made me start to picture in my mind the pizza restaurants in the surrounding areas now that was going to be picking up the business and it made me think, which one would we choose to pick up the slack until our pizza place is rebuilt.
well there is Sophia's I always liked their pizza but hubby was a die hard Amato's lover. There is Le Gourmet but that just doesn't sound very good. Brothers is too far. Tony's is god awful. Pizza Star. Anthony's. All of these place are out of our way and these pizza guys at Amato's have known us for years. It's like neighbors, family. they feed us once a week.
this is quite a dilemma. Pizza is by far one of my most favorite foods. It's like Jello. and there's always room for jello! a person can always have a slice of pizza! I have never turned down pizza, ever. there is an entire celebratory culture around pizza. Kinda of like birthday cakes. If your having a party you order a pizza. you don't feel like cooking, you order a pizza. Pizza is part of our lives.
There is V&S in Fairless hills where a rude teen ager can ignore you and you can stand in an unorganized line of people wondering if your pizza is ready yet. Love their pizza but hate their ways. Want to bitch slap the girl.
Speaking of stupid girls, if you want to see some coyote ugly, kindergarten types take ourself on over to the new Millers Langhorne Ale House and you can get your fill! I think they must have had some criteria leaning towards that movie for choose their help.
We were told in a whiney, like voice, that if we like, wanted any like food, we could like open the menu with like the big fish on it. All of this was in a strange dialect that only 15 year old girls speak and they speak it collectively. All had their chests hanging out, all looked like playboy bunnies sauntering between tables. there like 5 of them at the front door, nervously clinking together, for fear that they might be separated for a moment and loose their identities.
I'd like to know what's going on there.
How does this begin. their parents don't speak this way. Their teachers don't teach them to speak this way. Where does this begin? How does this begin? Why do they want to sound like this? what is the payoff? yes I want to know what they get out of looking stupid? Do they have practice sessions in their poster plastered bedrooms in suburbia? the city girls do NOT talk this way. Clearly it is a suburban trait. I think a study ought to be done immediately.
but their hair sure looked good.
Hope to GOD I never acted like that. I don't think I did. Boys just aren't that important. that must be it. THEY don't know that! they haven't figured it out as of yet. Women of the blogg, please lend your opinions on this. Your closer to their ages than I. I hope this isn't just a generation gap observation on my part. I do think it's a strange phenomenon.
So there is your unexpected emergency posting. I did this for my fellow posters who are out of town, to keep you in the loop.
Let us all take a moment to remember our strip mall on Trenton Road. May it be rebuilt quickly.
hers my prediction. I think Amato's will get their asses into another building somewhere fast and re open, and I will be there to support them.
RIP

Happy Birthday Blogg
One year ago , I was invited to join this Blogg and what compliment that was for me! And what an awesome outlet creatively it has been as well.
It also came at a very exciting time for you all as you were all leaving for your future lives in new worlds without each other. it was a bridge to connect us all.
Plus I'm the only official "parent" here and it was nice that you all were able to forget that and be yourselves despite that. I appreciate that more than you all know.
Most of you are more mature than me and wiser and absolutely by far the most intelligent people I have ever met and I consider myself lucky to be able to have conversations with you!
I was also laid off from my job one week from today, actually the very day I was to blogg that night I was laid off so I had a place to write about that and I also had something to keep me busy while I looked for a new job. (Yes September 12 is a day I will not forget.)
I never knew how I really felt about food and I had no idea I would enjoy writing about it so much and the stories that went along with it. Some of my best writing happened here at the Blogg, only because I took the time to do it. And I was surprised how excited I got everyday to read the new post! It was really cool and it was like you all never left.
It was also amazing how aggrivated I became when people didn't post on their days! It became a drug that I required and when it was not available.
My favorite post that I wrote was my birthday party posting. I sat down and thought, if I COULD have whatever I wanted in a party, what would that party look like. To think without restrictions was amazing. It's like a gift to yourself to give yourself in your mind all your little perks. I had so much fun writing it and I found myself laughing outloud as the thoughts came to my mind and what these people would be doing at my party. Jodi Foster doing flips on a trampoline? it helped me to get to know myself a little better.
I have secretly always wanted to write and I began writing a book when I was about 12(don't know what happened to it, I think my Mom found it and threw it away because i was writing down my sisters life ). My book dissappeared but im pretty sure I was copying Judy Blume's style of writing.
I never really had the opportunity to write after that. I just didn't have a reason. Now I do every week. sometimes I can be witty and sometimes I just talk. I try to put effort into it.
I for one would like to renew my contract.
Happy Birthday BLOGG! and may we have many more years to come

The coffee is good How was your day
Ya, Ya Un Glockunschpiel does this mean you ask?
I really don't know but it's one of the only things I can say in German. I think it means "Yes Yes a Glockunschpiel" which is an instrument.
I can also say"The Coffee is good" in sign language.
Now how would I know that one you ask? C'mon!! I'm the coffee goddess of this site.
Actually, it was a line from a movie I saw in 1980 called,"If you could see what I hear" with Michael Ontkean and Amy Irving.
she plays a deaf woman who is waiting for a bus in New York City when she happens to glance up into the window of a building which just happens to hold a small do it yourself recording booth where, low and behold, Micheal Ontkean is singin his heart out, recording a song he wrote, as he is a painting contractor or something like that by day but a musician wanna be.
their eyes meet, she laughs at him singing, he smiles back, they fall for each other, she gets on her bus and leaves and then he must run after her bus to get one and catch her. he runs for blocks and finally gets on and sits next to her only to find......
shes deaf.(oh I guess I told you that part to early)
so anyway, he thinks shes pretty cool despite her deafness and begins to try and date her, learns a few phrases in Signing and gets himself invited for coffee at her house where he tries out his phrase one her, which is"The Coffee is good". He also learned,"How was your day"? (That one didn't stay with me I'm afriad)
and that is the story of how I came to know that particular phrase. I was 15. It was a romantic movie. Who knew Ide be this in to coffee? Who knew I'de still be thinking about this c movie for this many years!
Ive used the line (silently)many times.
Now some of you, who have known me, know this about me, but for those who don't, I am a movie line/song lycric freak. I talk in movies all day long naturally. Some of them are old some new and there are those that I havent heard yet that I will someday and I will use them as well, but one day, a few years ago I decided that I will only talk in movie lines. I thought i should do something with all this un needed knowlegde that i store in my brain.
Only those who know the movies or me for that matter will understand what I mean. Someone says something, it makes me think of a line or a song and out it comes.
Someday, when you visit me at the nursing home, I will only talk to you in lines so study up!
See that line up there at starts wth Actually? well when I re- read that, it made me think of a line from the movie Prancer, when Jessica Riggs says to someone, "Prancer Actually". so I'll say it.
I guess it's kind of a compulsion in a way but it can be very fun for me and for anyone who knows what I'm talking about.
so, back to food. which is why were all here.
Breakfast I had 2 plums and an English muffin with butter.(Kellers!) (butter commercial)massive amounts of coffee to counter act the allergy meds.
lunch, mac and cheese frozen meal. smart ones. Plain M&M's.
dinner has yet to materialize. Ive made more coffee though. Pizza might be on the horizon.
so that is the post for me this week dear hearts.

Troll
Ide like to start off my post by requesting that Dan remove my name from the face to that troll on the side. If there is one character I cannot stand from that movie it is that one! REMOVE NOW. please. And why arent there any women characters. I want to be Cate Blanchets character none at all.
So, that done,
I am having my coffee, my starbucks coffee. (One of the benfits of knowing someone who works there) This time I chose medium Columbian blend. Last time I got breakfast blend which was very mild. The bold got to be too much for me. I felt myself thinking agressive thoughts while On it. So, I think a combination of the breakfast and the columbian would be perfecto.
I will be having my biomolecular shake after that.
It's a very hot day today i don't really know what I will be doing. I don't normally leave the house on days such as this, except to go to stores but even that must be done early because it's not worth it as our car heats up to the point that by the time your air kicks in your home. So days like these for ultra white, heat sensitive people that don't belong below the artic circle line, it's either early AM or after the sun goes down.
I finished reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics, again. This is my second time but it is so chock full "stuff" so much that I cannot name it all for then Ide have to catagerize it. I began re -reading it at the beginning last night and I swear each time it's a new book to me. I see new things I didn't pay enough attention to the first time and now the second. This is the kind of book that I find my self highlighting , just because some of the quotes are so interesting. Some of her, sentences when she is comparing one thing to another are just things I have never heard anyone compare. Heres an example of a sentence; "The days shuffled by, like bland schoolgirls. I didn't notice their individual faces, only their basic uniform:day and night, day and night."
"And that was my bolchevik moment, so to speak," Dad said. "When I decided to storm the winter palace." I LOVE THAT. Who talks like that? A professor.
This book is full of cool quotes like that, not to mention her quotes and references of books. At one point in this story, she's throwing books at her father(shes angry with him) and she's naming the ones she chooses to throw at him(In her mind not outloud). I love this book. It's amazing that the author is only 27 years old. She is either reincarnated or she's an incredible researcher.
We do plan a trip to The Pineville Tavern early this evening though so I will be having something yummy for dinner.
I really should have told you all about my trip last week to the Blueberry farm where I did not pick them but simply bought 10 pound of them, which was much cheaper and less work for me. If you have ever driven to the shore, which I am sure we all have, then you've seen these HUGE farms with those HUGE irrigating systems in the fields.
Well,I have finally been on one of those farms! It was called Contes. I'm here to tell you that I got freezing tips from expert Blueberry people. Others who had bought the huge box of them and learned the ways of the blue- berry.
First, you lay them flat out on a pan with edges of course. freeze them. After they re frozen, AND ONLY after they are frozen you put them into bags and put them into the freezer. DO NOT wash them first, they will get mushy AND if you freeze them just in a bag, they will stick together and you will have clumps of berries. Let me tell you it worked like a charm
After our free Blueberry freezing lesson, we went to Wegmans .
Wegmans; A Cornucopia of Epicurian Delight!
I went out of my mind! If your a food lover this place with rock your socks like botony! Everytime i thought I had seen it all, there was more that I had missed.
We ate off the Asian bar. I tried alot of Tai foods but being I tried so many different things, I have no idea what they were by the time I sat down, but they were spicey. If I went into all the details of all the foods I saw, we would be here forever. It was amazing! They even had spumoni! I had pistacio.
I was looking at these horrible floral arrrangements that were selling for 100 dollars! and behind me there was a sample lady in the cheese department. YES! A CHEESE DEPARTMENT! I sampled Artichoke/Asiago cheese spread on a tiny tiny piece of hard toast.
SOLD! Bought some.
I then saw the Mediteranian bar, my other favorite foods!!! greek olives, stuffed olives, pesto, 7 kinds of hummus! I bought it! then behind is was an indian food bar! Im not even going into the bakery and im not even going into the pastries and I havent even touched on the coffees! I had to leave before my head exploded!
Not to mention the nice veranda they have above it all, so you can people watch. I really felt as if i had visited a foreign country.
whew, it was grand. Who needs to hear about the Pineville Tavern now eh?
so thats my blogg for today.
Did I make you hungry?

Sunday, July 6
The 6th of July
Well, here I am posting on the 6th of july, like a good American.
I can't believe this but I have to admit that I actually forgot about the blogg for days at a time. I am sorry, please forgive me, I know not what I do.
so, today I had coffee and a piece of Wheat bread with blueberry preserves.
If there is one great thing about July , it's that it is BLUEBERRY season!! YAY. I love blueberries and all that goes with them. I love blueberry pie and jams and blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, compote, hell they are even pretty little things to look at!
and next weekend I hope to be picking blueberries on a farm in New jersey(the Garden State) with my farmy gardening friends.
We are going to get up early in the AM, get some coffee and go. After we will have some breakfast in some Jersey diner somewhere i do hope, and then off with our many berries to freeze them and make our pies and muffins etc. I eat blueberries ike they are going out of style in July
Hammonton NJ is the Blueberry Capital of NJ. They even have a blueberry festival(which I missed because I was touring gardens in Bordentown that weekend. That weekend I walked the Historic town of Bordentown for hours in the heat and walked into peoples back yards, some of them as small as a psotage stamp but filled to the hilt with plants and arbors and yard furniture. One was even named "Little italy " garden in memory of her dead father. I don't know really what made her garden particularly Italian, but whatever. Some of the people had ponds with huge coi in them and there were two gardens on the tour that provided refreshments and thank Dole because it was hot.
It was Lemonaid at both houses but one offered pretzles and one offered cookies and I thought if my house is never on a garden tour, I will remember to offer drinks and food because it's tiring AND it makes you like their garden even better!!
But anyway, I will keep you posted on the Blueberry Picking things beause i want to see what other types of folks come out to pick them too and I know you will all wait on the edge of your seats as well waiting for this info.
In the fall there is a Cranberry farm that has a festival and you can go to this and watch them flood the boggs( I know, so close to bloggs) and harvest the Cranberries. i am very excited about this since I didn't even konw of this process until about 2 years ago, which is cool. I love learning new things.
Lunch, I made this huge vat of egg salad because I had way too many eggs in the fridge so,egg salad it was. And now were making this make your own pizza kind of thing and im suddenly starving.
For fouth of July we did nothing and went no place. I was very happy about that. We made some fettucine alfredo at around 8 pm and then drove to Connies for ice cream and we were the only people there. It was cool. We sat by the window of strange things that they sell and ate our ice cream until the rain kicked in and then we went home to our books. 4.99 for a gallon of ice cream at the store, paying 15.88 for icecream for four people on fourth of july........ priceless.
After that we came home and I retired to my reading area(my bed) with my book.
I am re reading "Special topics in Calamity Physics". I love this book. In this book she is constantly quoting lines from other books . I love this. it's about a senior high school girl and her professor father moving to this town in NC. Her mother died years back and its just been her and him and they dont stay anywhere very long and theres a reason for that.
its kind of a mystery. i love this book.
Also I can reccomend'Heartbreaking work of a Genius" or something like that. there's a word missing from that title but I can't recall what it is.
so im eating my pizza right now and its really good for a make it yourself thingy.
i also might as well pass on a musical selection for you all too that I have become obsessed with this week.
CLARINET CONCERTO A K 622 Adagio Its Mozart. I love it, you can hear it on youtube if you like.
well see you all, sorry for skipping for so many days,

Bus Stop Buddie
Does anyone here watch fox 29 in the AM or did you once watch fox 29 in the AM?
Well we do. Been watching it for years as we get ready for our days, as we drink our coffee.
We watch these people who have become, well, part of our family really.
Sue Serio became so familiar to me that one morning, when she was on a location and they were dropping hints about just where in the delaware valley she was, I noticed the location and i figured it out! The Bread Shop! the Bread Shop around the corner from my house! The Bread Shop near the H MART!!! OMG OMG OMG.
I jumped into my car before my brain could stop me and I drove over there like a lunatic because it was already her last broadcast for that day and I knew that I would miss her if I didn't get there fast.
I got there, the van was still there and the lights and the satellite hook up was still up so I parked and I ran in and I said, "Where is Sue"?
And she said"I'm right here" and she was! There behind the counter with the torpedo rolls was Sue!! Taller in Person, just as sweet. I was so happy to finally meet her.
But the reason for my blogg today is another character on the morning show
Bus Stop Buddie.
Hes this little cartoon character that they dress up appropriately so that the little kids know what to wear to school for what ever weather comes to pass.
I've also known bus stop buddie since my kids were small and it just occured to me that Bus stop buddie is still small.
It was at this point that my ever imaginative mind went off on a tangent.
Bus Stop buddie going to middle school. refusing to wear that stupid shirt that his mom bought him and those friggin dorky shoes! GOD MOM!
Bus Stop buddie tearing the jacket off that he left the house with and throwing it behind the bush while he lights a cigarette and chillin with his crew. THAT bus stop buddie (Probably called himself Bud when he's there) you know like the beer? Always a good time Bud,
Then high school comes along. His hair is now down his back and he aint wearin no hat bitch! His dealer comes up to the bus stop and sells him his quarter bag. They don't show THAT side of him. Thats all on the other side of the drawing, the one facing the wall, that and his middle finger hes got sticking up at you. the one wearing the really hot cordoroy pants in July, really huge ones hot socks, and when I say hot I dont mean cool. I mean hes NOT dressing for the weather anymore!
so anyway, thats all I have to say about that.
The other morning,(you kow, that other one) Dorothy Krisciuk was doing the traffic report and this actor/Commedian, whose name escapes me at this time, was standing there on camera with her and they were mocking, together, this work truck on I95 that had accidentally dumped a load of wood on the road. They were cutting up the workers, how slow they were moving, how they had no idea that they were being viewed on TV and being talked about and been made the butt of jokes! It was so funny! It was the best traffic report I ever saw! I emailed them and told them they ought to to that more often!
TV
