EDIT: Actually, today's been just as hectic as the others so I probably won't have time to write a proper post. I will, however, bring up a question for writers and readers to answer (even if the writers ARE the readers): should we move to putting up a new post every other night or change this system in some other way? It seems like the current system doesn't always work for everyone since we all (pretend) to have busy lives. Yay, nay, other?

If we move it to every other night I cant get my (almost) daily fill of food-bloggin! Nay I say.
Posting on my night is never a problem for me usually, though it sure seems like it's a hassle for others. If posting every other night means that everybody will be efficient and punctual, I'd be for it. However, would that posting structure lead to more forgetfulness? Whatever you guys want.
These are trying times in the food blog...but I dream of a brighter future! We sit by our computers and watch each day as this once great society goes downhill! And we sit there and look helplessly while people miss their blogging nights two-three days in a row and we carry on anyway as if that's the way its supposed to be! Thus, the world we are living in is slowly becoming less habitable and the general public is becoming less informed of the happenings of each other's diets! This is mass madness!
Now, I'm not trying to point the finger, and in no way am I excluding myself from this disappointing behavior, but things need to change! Putting off the food blog to every other night will do nothing to fix the problem! In fact, I am in agreement with the good Professor Nesto on this one...we'll probably forget even more! No, the only solution to this problem is to buckle down! Vote for me, and I will assure that the food blog is cared to each and every night...
...disregard that last sentence. Look, I propose that from this moment henceforth, the punishment for a late blog will be the death penalty!
Nay to every other day!
I say Nay as well. Maybe if a few more people were added to the blog that would take some pressure off.
Or if someone forgets there will be public flogging, verbally of course.
Actually, DAN
Being the only blogger here of Jewish persuation, you owe it to the rest of us to post a decent Hannuka blog! We need to know about Latkes and Gelt! We need to hear about your menora! YOU OWE US! So post damn it.
Put on your Yamika, its time for Hannuka!
SHIT. Hanukkah!
I like Mrs. Gillies' idea of maybe adding people though. We could recruit Nick, or Stacy, or Mer, or Erik's sister. Who knows, suggestions for people?
hmm...what say the masses to the idea of a guest blogger each week? I think it would get even more crazy if we added more permanent people, plus guests would be cool. also, this would bring us to six posters (including the random guest) meaning we wouldn't get stuck writing every tuesday or whatever - each round we would end up with a different day which I think is good.
Stacey would be a great addition. Shes very creative and very interesting, bright. Her myspacve page is very interestingand always active, so she puts time into things. I vote for her and Mer.
Not sure we could get Nick to do it.
If it's alright with the population of the food blog, I could inform Mer to be a guest speaker for tonight, as to try this idea out?
