A Tribute to the Pope

Well, I've had a fine few days, but it seems I missed my day by 2 nights! Oh dear! Terribly sorry! And I almost went to bed again without blogging tonight! My mother has been on my case these past few days about not living up to my duties...and rightly so! So here I am!

You may be inquiring about the title of my blog...and so I'll explain! As few of you probably know, last Sunday was the birthday of the great Pope of Dolism! That's right, my dearest brother Nicklaus! Unfortunate that we could not have a feast as we did "with" New Bill! But not to worry, because we had a banquet of Chinese food that night, and it was rather good. I was going to have him guest blog for his birthday, but that didn't work out so well. Oh well...this one is dedicated to Nick! Hail the pope of Dole!

Breakfast: For breakfast this morning, I had a special guest show up!! That's right...none other than the leader of the food blog himself, Fat Dan! He arrived gallantly at my front door around 8:30, and we had plans for breakfast at the diner. Unfortunately, we never made it to the diner, as we were tempted by the wonders of Super Smash Bros!

...Yes, that's right. We played video games instead. Pretty evenly matched if I do say so myself! And so we settled for whatever we could find. Using all the information we gained from college and then some, we were able to figure out how to work the microwave, and Fat Dan made himself some sort of pre-made frozen Jimmy Dean sandwich. He said it was the most ravishing thing he had ever tasted, so I guess he did a good job at cooking it. After eating, he went off to work, and I had myself an English Muffin and some hot chocolate.

...neither of us show signs of cancer.

Lunch: After cleaning the kitchen, I was going to do something for lunch, but I received a mysterious warning from an anonymous caller telling me to dress nicely. Not 10 minutes later, Robert Curry showed up at my door. I should have known! He was dressed in a suit, and his hair and beard were both gelled. What crazy antic did he have up his sleeve this time?

Well, today Robert was a bible salesman! And his girlfriend lead us to her car, which to my surprise, was filled with 30 or so bibles! We headed off to Danny Dickerson's house, and made an...interesting movie to say the least!

Dinner: Long story short, we ended up at the mall waiting in line for Santa Claus. But the big man was on his lunch break or something, because he was MIA for a good 10 minutes. So we went to the food court and indulged in whatever our heart desires! As many of you may have come to realize, I got the meal I usually get at the Food Court, which is a number 1 at Yanagi. For those of you not familiar with the "value meals" at the Oxford Valley Yanagi(which I assume to be all of you), it is the fancy tofu meal they've got going! I still consider that meal to be proof that, while tofu may be the blandest food in the world, it can still taste good if cooked correctly!

Splendid!
So its midnight now, and I am very very tired. I've woke up around 7 this morning because I was told to prepare for a diner trip which never actually happened. Figures! Ah well...a good time was had, and I was returned alive, so s'all good! I'm off to bed!

Happy Birthday Nick!
