Wow! You know it's been a boring day when you don't even know how to formulate an exciting first sentence. Well, I woke up at around 10:30, seeing as my first class wasn't until 12:30, I cruised around the innerweb for while, sent the Facebook message to all my radio show's fans, and I took a shower. After prepping myself for the day, I attempted to create some sort of general idea as to what I'll write my ACS (a required Freshman class) paper, which is due Monday. It was mildly helpful, but I got little accomplished the rest of the day in those regards.
I headed off to 12:30 ACS with Jakob, and then Spanish straight afterwards. It wasn't until 2:30 when I finally ate my first meal of the day.
Lunch:
It being the season of Lent, us Christians are not permitted to eat meat on Fridays. Jesus Christ. I'll do most anything you want of me, God. I'll go to Church every Sunday --hell, I'll even go to Church on "Holy Days of Obligation," like Ash Wednesday. But to take away my meat? That's asking a lot, God. I'm practically a carnivore. I'll abide, but just know that I don't like it, God. Well, lucky for me, there's this lovely little loophole in this "you're not allowed to eat meat on Fridays" operation. Apparently fish doesn't count as meat! I guess God didn't like sea creatures too much. So, me naturally being a carnivore, I quickly snatched up a tuna hoagie before God could change his mind. Ha! It was delicious.
Afterwards, Jakob and I headed back to the dorm, where I marched into Vinny's room to see what was going on. To my despair, I heard some sort of crack or pop in my left robot leg. I intended on seeing if something came loose or something, but Vinny and Bob quickly suggested that we partake in Smash Bros. I agree immediately, and we all go back to my room and play Smash Bros. until a little after 5, when I realize that I have a radio show to attend. I stand up, grabbing my laptop, when I again realize that my robot leg is faulty! Uh oh! I completely forgot about that.
I get to the studio with my co-host Cory, and we start up yet another successful show. Tonight's show gave me an oppurtunity to catch up with caller(s) I know from high school, and we explored the old times at Neshaminy... for old time's sake. In addition, I won the Phillies Trivia contest with effortless grace (not to toot my horn or anything). Good stuff.
Dinner:
Upon Cory's and my return to the dorm, a bunch of us on the floor decided to order Domino's. Somehow, we ended up eating this pizza / cheesy bread at the Spit. Bob needed to get money from the ATM, so we walked through the Spit. I noticed that the plastic cups were still out, so we all get free soda from the fountains! It was especially delectable, as was the pizza.
Upon returning to the dorm a third time, we all converged in Bob's room, where we started watching this transvestite comedian named Eddie Izzard. Crazy stuff. So, nothing too exciting, but nothing too negative either. I guess not everyday is Dole-filled of craziness!
