Why Do I Always Get the Holiday Posts?

Although I'm not sure where Valentine's Day ranks on the scale of holidays that are actually holidays... I guess it's fitting though since this is my first Valentine's of any significance. (Yeah, I'm in college, so what?) So what did I do on such a (stupidly) important day? Everything but what you're supposed to of course! My only class today (ha! at noon no less!) was Microeconomics and it's good I didn't skip it like I'd thought of because the red M&M's reminded me what day it was. Shit! Should I have bought a gift? At lunch I tried to pull the Jew card, but apparently my reasoning that celebrating a saint would be anti-Jewish was a no go. After lunch and a round of ping pong I ran to the bookstore and bought a blank CD for to fill with tunes. You know the saying, "it's the thought that counts?" I really hope that's not true, because I drew a cover for the mix tape/CD and didn't think about what I was drawing at all:Notice the pen and sword flanking a flower (not even a rose mind you), surrounded by a blood-red heart? I have no idea what that symbolizes nor what I was thinking at the time, maybe you do? So we had dinner at the cafeteria (she didn't want to go to Burger King) and it was all fine and dandy. Then I said bye and went off to play Racquetball with completely different people. I've been playing ping pong more or less every day since September so I didn't think it'd be hard at all. Except, it was. And deadly. And we didn't know how to play so we just hit a tennis ball as hard as we could and attempted to dodge the fluorescent green rocket:

Chris trying not to get hit in the face.

And then we watched the movie Eagle vs. Shark, about this guy (from Flight of the Conchords) who, dressed as an eagle at a costume party, falls in love with a girl in a shark costume. Romantic stuff!

Breakfast: No thanks.

Lunch: Hamburger and hot dog, smothered in ketchup. That's right.

Dinner
: I had risotto for the first time today. It's weird, like macaroni and cheese but with rice. I'll stick with easy mac I think.

All in all, Valentine's day wasn't bad, but it was no risotto. (One dollar to whoever knows where that's from!)

Is that Bob Dole's pen? Brilliant!

Hell, no need to be rich, just give me the word!

And yes, I think it just might be the mighty pen of Dole!

P.S. Sorry about deleting the other post's comments, it wouldn't let me move them - Garden State's soundtrack is simply awesome.

dan, i'm glad you get all the holiday posts because they are generally all Christian holidays (or related) and you always manage to celebrate in an unorthodox way. I mean hot dog AND hamburger? High five, snap!
