That's a rugby joke folks, hilarious, I know. But I digress. Another day, another few meals to blog about. The day started off early, slowly. 8 a.m. I'm awoken by the sound of "Wish you were here" by Incubus.
I never used to set an alarm, but through the wise words of my lovely girlfriend and fellow food blogger Meredith, I started. So I figure, what the hell, I'll set my phone alarm. And what song better than the one that sounds when she calls me? Besides, anything is better than that bloody alarm clock beeping and beeping and beeping and BEEPING AND BEEPING. The thought of that alone makes me shudder. Anyway, I hopped out of bed and walked off my sleepy daze, as I mosied on over to the bathroom to brush my teeth and such.
I walked to Chem II, 15 minutes later I arrived at the science building. It's quite a hike from my hall. Walked in fearing what was to come. We were going to get our tests back today. Just as I feared....59/100. I let out a heavy sigh and walked on back to my seat, very aggravated as it was not due to my personal neglect of studying this time. Zoology labs are quite time consuming and it cut deeply into my study time for chem. What a shame. But no use crying over spilled milk as they say. Unless that spilled milk is equal to 1/4 of your Chemistry grade.
Breakfast:
I ate breakfast before I took that Chem test too....last time I make that mistake.
After Chem came Zoology. We learned about Phylum Chordata today...Those of you asking "What the hell does that mean?" right now quietly to yourselves, now know how myself and Ian felt through that whole class this morning. Afterwards as we discussed how we had no idea what we just sat through, Sir Ian X. Gillies, Eric (my neighbor here at school), and I walked over to the dining hall for lunch.
Lunch:
Nothing exciting, Bacon Cheeseburger and some delicious curly fries. Mmm-mmm, scrumptious. I washed it down with two glasses of Pepsi, since the sweet tea wasn't working. That upset me greatly.
After lunch it was time to head back to the dorm for a bit before Rugby practice. That's right, Rugby. Quite the vicious sport, no pads and no sympathy for your well-being. We scrimmaged for the first time today. What was the result you might ask? Well it was a lot of fun, but I ended up getting kicked in the face and had my wrist stepped on, so that swelled up pretty good, but I survived. I'm excited for the first game on Saturday against Bloomsburg. I think they might actually play me.
After the mud slinging practice came to an end, me and Kevin decided to jog to the dining hall to cool down. It was a nice little run.
Dinner:
I saw there were chicken wings today, so I grabbed all of them I could fit on a plate and ate them all. They were good, though I was probably blinded with hunger at this point after practice. I don't care though, it was wonderful.
Dinner ended and we walked back to the dorm, a full day. It was slow to start, but it ended well. I think I'm going to enjoy Rugby here.
P.S. Mrs. Gillies, if you read this, don't tell my mom I got kicked in the face. She's not excited about me playing Rugby to begin with and I don't want her to worry. AND THAT GOES FOR THE LOT OF YOU!

what posistion do you play? I'm guessing scrum or fly half.
After watching my dearest brother, Jon Mayer, known as Buhreakfast in these parts, play rugby for the Nova team on more than one occasion, I can say that I'm worried about you, Daniel. I don't think "New Bill," and then think "incredibly sturdy build."
I play Wing, left side.
When I enter this site, I am a blogger not a mother or a tattletail. You never need worry. that goes for all of you.
