The Cake is on the House or: How I Learned to Stop Procrastinating and Write the Post.

First of all, I can't go on without saying this: "my bad!" I've had a lot of stuff going on this past week. Also, I have to point out that in no way have I actually learned to stop procrastinating, the public flogging is just a temporary solution to that.

So yesterday (Friday) I made it back home for what I'm told is spring break but will end up just being a week-long weekend minus the Sunday brunches. I think I'll walk back next time: it took an 8 hour journey from broken-down car to working car to bus station to bus to bus station to bus to bus station to train station to train to train station to car to home for what amounts to a 2 hour drive. Whatever happened to trains and buses anyway? I remember a time (from movies and books and intuition) when they were romantic in the more awesome sense of the word. I came up with a theoretical relationship between trains/buses: the longer the ride the better the ride. You wouldn't think it while you're on the bus sitting next to the guy who's being broken up with over the phone, but cross country bus rides kick cross state rides' asses. I want to get on a Darjeeling, not an Amtrak.

I grow tired of Hillary Clinton.

I sat in synagogue today for the first time in a long time and all I saw were famous people trying to hide away from public sight. George Lucas, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Niles from Frasier, and that one actor who's in all those subpar movies. The Rabbi looked like an owl and the other guy who's up there all the time looked like a shitzou.

I haven't slept very much this past week and I can't decidedly say that I'm not enjoying it in some weird way.

Here's a youtube clip (ptpt) about good food and good times, courtesy of Mrs. Gillies:

Breakfast: Instead of breakfast I opted for the 2 a.m. diner rush with none other than Ian, Nick and Jesse. I had no money but still managed to scrounge up a slice of cheesecake. The cake is always on the house when Jesse's around. (Just don't tell him that.)

Lunch: For lunch I had a slice of pizza with my one and only sister -- shout out to the hizzle! There, ya happy?

Dinner: Chicken with garlic sauce at a Spanish restaurant in Trenton. Them Spaniards make a mean... bread and butter.

Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that this week has showed me that I have real power in this world - the power to disappoint!

I think the best part of this whole one is that I am mentioned. Truthfully. I thought of the owl and shitzou and that other guy that's in all the movies. And don't say hizzle. You sound like even more of a dork. GOSH.
