What a better way to spend a Monday and a Tuesday than with the people you love? Good friends, beautiful girlfriend, and surprisingly exciting times in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Our fellow food blogger Meredith, as you all know by Ian's blog came to visit the Millersville crowd on Monday afternoon, and stayed until Tuesday afternoon. It was wonderful, I had never been more excited for a Monday or a Tuesday for as far back as I can remember.
Picking up where Ian left off, around 7:30 a.m. me and Mer woke up to Kevin's alarm. Mer made a humerus head banging imitation. It was nice waking up with a smile on my face instead of the thought of "OH GOD I WANT TO GO BACK TO BED!" If only it could happen more often. Either way, it was nice. Me and Mer just laid around and I finally got out of bed around 9:15 and rushed to history class which started in 15 minutes across campus. I made it just in time.
As I strode into class I took my seat next to Raquel and Professor Simmons handed the tests back from last week. I'm always nervous about his tests, they are essay tests consisting of three parts. Part one is identifying important figures or key events in history and writing 2-3 lines about ten of those of your choosing from a list usually numbering around twenty or so. Part two is three questions, usually opinionated but still requires extensive knowledge of the topics discussed in class, and finally Part three which is always one question requiring you to write as much as you can when responding to it. Quite the formidable test If I do say so myself. He handed it back to me face down. I have a phobia about face down tests and always assume that means I did poorly, even though my Bio Professor from last semester and my Zoo Lab professor from this semester keep telling me that face down doesn't mean bad, it's just to hide the score from everyone else. But the fear persists. I flipped the test over to reveal a 48 out of 50. 96%, not too shabby Danny boy, not too shabby at all. I was ecstatic that I was able to get another A, almost assuring me that I could pull off an A in the class for the semester! Oh happy day.
After class I rushed back to my room to wake up sleepy head to see if she wanted to eat or not before she left. She declined as it looked like rain and we both wanted her to get home safely before it started to come down. So around noon we said our long goodbyes and she headed home. I missed her twenty minutes after she was gone. Without her here the day seemed to drag on. Felt like the end of a long weekend. It was a welcomed change of pace around here.
Breakfast:
Did Abraham Lincoln eat breakfast before delivering the Emancipation Proclaimation? I don't think so!
Lunch:
For Lunch I had saltines as I missed lunch to say goodbye to Mer, but thats ok, there are other opportunities to eat during the day. And wouldn't you know it, later on I stopped at the Cove with Eric before English and got me some bread sticks. Mmm, scrumptious.
Dinner:
For Dinner I had Chicken Parm, Grilled Cheese, and Crunch Berries. I believe that constitutes all of the food groups...right?
Late Night:
Buffalo Chicken Pizza, 'nuff said.

Ok what's up with the poll???
HILLARY '08!!!!!
Pay no attention to this "a. english" woman. She's obviously under a witch's spell.
It was YOU who rigged the poll!!! You lying skeive! Pfft....I now see what Obama's vision entails!
You fiend, Anna Mathew! It is SO like you to vote for Hillary Clinton. Well, I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm no less disgusted. Anyway, I fully endorse Lord BFD's decision to "change" the poll, change it in a manner so that there is no wrong answer.
