Life is an Adventure!

Never has the world ever seen a procrastinator such as myself. And that, I say with confidence! I distinctly remember putting aside a time frame last night to write my blog...and of course in that time frame, I did everything BUT write! But maybe that was for the best. Sunday wasn't the most exciting of days, and I found myself forcing food down my throat so I'd have something to write about! But just for you Erik, I'll tell you that I got French Fries last night when I went to late night. French Fries.

But this works out best for all you folks! Yes, today was much more exciting than every day of the weekend combined. Hell, maybe I just like being busy! In fact, I feel somewhat guilty writing about today's adventure which included not one...not two...but THREE of the food bloggers! But thats just the way the cookie crumbles I guess. I'll do my best to capture the day's travels.

Well it all started when I woke up...an hour late. Damnit! Missed speech. I swear I'm not trying to miss this class...it just happens!! I mean it IS my least favorite class, but I still like to try and make it there every day! Oiy...never again.Well in any case I headed off to Zoology where I spoke with my arch nemesis about how to protect ourselves from women. You see...we learned that it is theoretically possible for women to reproduce without men, thus making men completely useless! And of course...if they ever figure out how to do that then there is no doubt in my mind that they'll try and finish us all off. Be warned my fellow males.

After Zoology I met up with that shady Ben character again...like I always do when I have an English paper due...and I spent the next few hours drinking coffee and writing. I noticed that with each paper I write, my writing gets more and more sarcastic and cynical. I actually get a good laugh when I reread my papers! I finished with some time to spare, but I decided to just print it out and head off to English early.

After English class, I was going to go to dinner with Jesse, when he informed me of some interesting news.
Apparently Mer was in town!
Ah! What a wonderful surprise! Didn't need to tell me twice, and we both headed off to the other side of campus to New Bill's room to see if we could rally the two of them for dinner. Mission accomplished.

We all headed over to the galley and got dinner, telling stories of wonder and joy before heading over to my room to see the photograph of Ray Cancilla and his girlfriend hanging above my desk with paper hearts surrounding it. That kept us occupied for about an hour, but soon we began to crave something else. Rita's! Welp...everyone in the car!

We walked over to Mer's car only to discover that something was terribly wrong. There seemed to be a large piece of plastic...something...hanging from underneath her car and getting in the way of the wheel. It was far from normal, but we decided to blow it off and go to Rita's anyway! The car ride was nothing less than entertaining, as the dangling piece got in the way of driving. It was like driving through a pothole over and over and over again, all the way to Ritas! Once there, we fulfilled our desires for ice cream and frantically searched Mer's car to find something that could help us repair the damage.

Luckily she found a really big pair of sunglasses that helped us make it home safely.

Unfortunately it seemed that wouldn't suffice as a permanent solution and we had to do what we could to fix it. After much time spent deliberating on what to do, we somehow managed to get the car jacked up so New Bill could bravely squeeze his way under the car and...do something...we hadn't actually thought that far ahead. But once he was under there, we determined that the best course of action would be to cut whatever it was off of the vehicle!

Now to those of you who don't think we should cut anything off a car that we don't know what it is...I say screw you!

So New Bill got a big knife, and sawed that baby off! Problem solved!
We all headed back to New Bill's hall, but disbanded shortly after that. It was an adventure to say the least! In fact, that's where the title for this blog comes from. A quote from none other than Mer herself. It was a pleasure to hang out with such an important special guest, and I have to say it was a grand old time!

On the way home I ran into two people who had no idea where they were going and I had to show them how to get to they Psychology building. They were pretty funny though and fun to talk to, but I'm not complaining! The guy actually ended up offering me a job at a pizza place?
Hmm...didn't see that one coming!
Oh well!
Now onto the food!

Breakfast: For breakfast, I grabbed a cup of hot chocolate and thing of pop tarts from the "Cyber Cafe". It wasn't much, but it got me through Zoology.

Lunch: For lunch, I took a break from my English paper, and headed up to the galley. I got a cup of Macaroni and Cheese, some breadsticks, and a coke. It was spectacular, and was exactly what I needed to finish that damned paper.

Dinner: For dinner, Jesse, New Bill, Mer, and I went to the Galley again. They each got a big cup of ketchup(New Bill had two) and taunted me with it the whole time. Those ketchup loving bastards. I was too distracted with the accursed condiment to pay any attention to what they ate, but I had two slices of pizza and a bag of chips. Twas a blast!
