August Rush

Now I know I often get times and dates mixed up rather frequently, but I do know that it is not August! I'm actually listening to the music from the movie. The movie wasn't bad...it was interesting, but I didn't like the parts with Robin Williams. The music though is bitching. Which is my playlist for this blog, for those of you who wanted to know what my "inspiration" was.

Today was a lazy sort of day. I was too tired to attempt contacts or dressing well. I'd say the most I accomplished this morning was to take the elevator down 4 floors to borrow milk for coffee...

It wasn't a bad day. I think I schooled the quiz I had in bio and my speech class got cancelled. Not only today, but Wednesday too! I'm thinking his wife is preggers...

The Ciara Center is blue tonight...I thought that they were making progress in making it cool colors instead of sticking with boring old blue. It was orange for a while and I was thrilled. But blah blue.

My hair is still recovering from my cousin's wedding. It was supposed to rain, so my hair lady compensated by overkilling on the hairspray. The wedding itself was good, i suppose. Shorter than I expected...because there were 12 reverends present to marry them. Which is probably why there was no dancing at the reception :(

I have no food to eat here because my parents dropped me off at school on their way to the airport...so I am rather hungry and unwilling to spend money on overpriced Kelly food. Working has made me somewhat cheaper...but I think I may have always been tight-fisted. Ach, who knows?

I have to work tomorrow. Ugh. I hate going to work. It's a major pain in my ass. A solid block of time where I sit betwixt two secretaries. One is young and hip with a piercing through her chin and listens to heavy metal music. The other is a female Milton (from Office Space) who has -1000 common sense points. It can be entertaining at times because the secretaries don't like each other. I sit around and try to do homework unless a professor comes in and wants me to scan an entire children's book or something tedious like that. $7.15 is a tedious wage...but I feel like a narrator in a novel whenever I hear the office drama. Anyway, the menu is:

Breakfast: coffee and dry honey bunches of oats
Lunch: cookie crisp and some disgusting pasta that i didn't finish, coffee, and a muffin
Tea: Chai latte with extra chai, cheez-its, and a handful of kisses
Dinna: salad with the best country french dressing ever and lemonade
Midnight snack: Cheese sandwich

PS Erik mayer this post is NOT late!

Well, technically speaking, Mrs. Gillies' post detailed her Saturday, while this post here is your Monday. However, this grim truth is disguised by the seemingly continuous nature of the posting dates above yours and Mrs. Gillies' posts. No big deal though. As long as the blog runs at a smooth pace, I think everyone is fine.

my post was a day late. Like you said though, one must finish eating for the day in order to blogg about it
I'm not suggesting to get Nazi or anything but when it gets to be 4-5 days of nothing, the blogg begins to die. thats what i'm talking about.
Anna, Very enjoyable post! I used to work in a small office where one would talk about the other all day long as soon as the other leaves the room! It is very entertaining! I loveed when they say, "I realy like so and so BUT......
