Scavanger Hunt

So the weekend began like any other, and as Friday came and went, I grew eager for the following night. Our fellow blogger Meredith, was having a co-birthday party with Kate Garcia, a friend of some of you. The party, which I had helped her plan involved one thing in particular...A scavenger hunt to end all scavenger hunts! Yes my friends, this was quite the hunt (I have a smiley face drawn on my butt to prove it!)
Some of you will be confused by that statement, I'll explain. At 7 o' clock, the teams were set in place, Team One, consisted of Myself as the captain/driver, Laura Henzy, Booke Airey, and Dana Nardello. Some of you may know these people, and most probably won't. Anyway, Team Two consisted of Meredith as the captain/driver, Maddy Minutillo, Mer's brother Brad, and his friend J.R. And last but not least, Team Three: Kate Garcia, Greg Donaghy, and Megan Sozio.
By 7:30 we were rushing out of Mer's house to the cars. My team was made up of 3 track stars, so we were destined for victory from the start, which I exclaimed proudly. We got to the cars and flew about across Levittown and Langhorne alike. All trying to find things on a long list of which to take pictures of for points ranging from 1-5 (The more embarassing ones were worth 5 points, such as getting frisked by a cop, or having something drawn on your butt in sharpie.). After an hour and a half we all returned to Mer's house for the finally tally of points. Once the points were counted My team came in first place with 64 points. Mer's came in second with 59 points, and last but not least again, Kate's team with 58 points.
We celebrated our flawless victory with hotdogs, hamburgers, and ice cream cake. Delicous.
I have been saving myself for all the food that would be at the party.

Mer's Party: Chips with awesome taco dip, doritos, and pretzels. Followed later by, 2 Hotdogs with KETCHUP. LOTS OF KETCHUP. And a cheeseburger, WITH MORE KETCHUP. For you non-ketchup eating bastards, may god have mercy on your soul.

So in the end, everyone headed home around 12 and I helped Mer clean up before I too headed out. By the end of the night I had made a pit-stop at the BFD, to see Nick, Ian and Ray. I had myself some cheese fries and then headed home for some much needed sleep. It was one of the most fun days I had had in a long time. Well done Mer. The party was a complete success!
