everyone knows a college education is overrated and now that everyone has one, devalued. After all, people are in college to get a diploma to make them competitive potential employers. Very few people are in college for its original, noble purpose of learning.
this is why professors feel the need to screw their students over by giving them assignments with vague instructions so they can sit back and enjoy the bloodbath of us all clawing each other to find the correct answer. Now this answer may not be in the book, or covered in lecture, or even online! No, this is exclusively in the prof's head and it is up to you to extract said information. But profs feel the need to do this in order to separate those who are in college to "learn" and those who are in it to get the piece of paper. What profs don't realize is that they are slowly progressing the original bunch of eager students to drones who only care about grades and will hunt and destroy to get the grade. So in essence, profs, universities, and students equally contribute to devaluing education and making it a supreme waste of time.
This whole notion of undergraduate, graduate, Phd, is utter bullshit. It's all a big ladder where everyone is shoving each other off at the bottom to make it to the top. Most of the stuff in undergrad is not too useful in graduate levels. Why can't i go to medical school now, and skip the whole undergrad process? am i learning anything now that will help me be a doctor? No, I'm learning about material that will help me pass the TEST that will get me into medical school. What a fucking waste of time. Why not make medical school like technical school. They wonder why there's a shortage of healthcare professionals. IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE DETERMINED TO SCREW AS MANY PEOPLE OVER AT ONE TIME AS THEY CAN!!.
Fight the man! Don't go to college! Pursue your own Phd in your living room by researching what you are interested in and apply it to what you think could happen. The entrenched system will only bog you down. Write down your findings and hope they find it after you die.
End Manifesto.
I agree, this undergrad crap is for the birds Anna. Let's start our own medical school.
although it seems as though college is standard, only a 1/3 of the countries population has one...learned in a college class today, somewhat ironic.
TOP TEN LISTS ARE AWESOME!
