Happy Birthday Webmaster!!

What better way to celebrate DanBen's birthday than to kickstart WWYHD 2.0??

It's 2:30, I should be sleeping as I am anticipating going to the Franklin Institute tomorrow to catch the 9 am showing of "The Lion King," but I don't think it's going to happen. For one thing, I have to wake up early...and my weekly routine involves going to bed at 5 am and waking up at noon (like a douche). Another thing is that I spent my last $20 on pizza...which is supposed to last me all week because I don't have a car and can't go grocery shopping.

I suppose it's appropriate to fill everyone in on what I've been doing these past 5 (FIVE!!) years, but nothing is better at distancing friendships than writing smug little summaries full of empty boasts, so I'll just drop a clue or a hint in whatever post I'm writing and BAM, you'll know.

I will say that I've moved to a more ghetto neighborhood, such that my roommate's purse was stolen when she went shopping at the Pathmark down the block. The ladies who took her purse went to the bathroom, emptied select things out of her purse like $80, cards, and her iPhone and CONTINUED SHOPPING. My roommates were racing up and down the aisles looking for her purse and were within INCHES of the ladies several times, right up to the checkout line (which they later saw on the security camera). I wasn't there because I was at work, but UGH, if only they knew then what they know now! So shopping locally seems out of the question, since the roommate with the car will probably not drive there anymore, but I hate the thought of going back home every weekend to go shopping.

But it's that or starve.

In other news, I've been reading George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" series, of which the HBO show "Game of Thrones" is based. It's some compelling stuff, but I've yet to read the latest book because I'm saving it. It's going to be forever before he writes the next one! But because of tumblr/facebook/twitter, it's likely something will be spoiled for me if I wait too long.

Walking back from school today, I passed a playground and spontaneously ran over to the swings because I don't like being 22 (Dan, you'll HATE it). After winning the admiration of a few small children from afar off (due to my swing mastery obviously), I set off to return home. Except a small child ran over to me and hugged my legs. It was very terrifying ("why is this kid touching me") and nice ("dawwww she's so cute").

It's been 5 years, but I still love parentheses, run-ons, and caps lock.

Good night to some, good morning to others.

Breakfast/Lunch: English muffin with jam
Dinner: 2 slices of peperoni and sausage pizza
