Chicken Patties AGAIN

Hello everyone,

I am jumping in here next because I am just that excited.

Tonight's meals consisted of some brand of disgusting pre cooked chicken patties , baked potatoes and corn. All things I really could skip eating for the rest of my life but that's all there was and so that's what I prepared.

and of course coffee.

I watched parts of "The long kiss goodnight" with Geena Davis. (always loved her and she was married to Jeff Goldblum AND is a member of Mensa which impresses me to no end) She played a spy/assassin for the FBI BUT she has amnesia, so she doesn't remember her old life and now in her new life she is a frumpy country school teacher and this seems to be working well until someone shows up at her house and tried to kill her.

After that was over, I was lucky enough to catch the end of "Accidental Tourist" with Willam Hurt and Geena Davis, again, this time portraying a quirky, charmingly strange dog trainer that saves him from himself after his son dies in an accident.

I was doubly blessed. I love that movie for some odd reason . I actually own it but it's always nice to just click the channel changed and find one of your favorites.

Since tonight's dinner was meager and we have been having a stressful week, I decided since my man was working late, to make the sugar free devils food cake that has been sitting in the cabinet for a few months to surprise him when he returned from work.

I felt oh so pleased with myself as I figured out in my head that since the oven was already hot from the chicken and potatoes, it would be most pioneer like of me, not to mention green, to take advantage of the oven already being hot. (oh these internal conversations I have with me...)

The cake turned out wonderful and light and fluffy and moist. and was a nice treat for us all.

I finished that off while watching"I didn't know I was pregnant" on TLC. lol

The man came home and began choosing channels of is own and I left him to his cake and i was only then that I recalled the email from Anna, ladyfrohan herself, stating that she had posted and I ran in and read it and decided to post myself.

I hated dinner but the TV was entertaining.
